Chapter 8

I was woken up by my mom telling me that it was time to go. I got ready and ate breakfast.
I grabbed my baggage and stocked it in the car.

I looked to the LeBlancs house. I needed to tell Caleb.

I ran and got to their porch. I knocked and sighed. I won't be coming here in 3 years.

Mrs.Katie (Annie, Hayley and Caleb's mom) opened the door.

"Hi Ally!" She said with a friendly smile.

"Hi Mrs.Katie! Can I talk to Caleb please?" I asked.

"Of course! I'll tell him that you're here" she said as she left to tell him.

"Hey Ally Melly" Caleb said.

"Hey Cae Cae" I said smiling.

We hugged and I was thinking about a way to say it.

"Caleb" I said.

"Yes?" He said.

"I'm going to musical school" I said.

"Great!" He said smiling.

"Uh... Musical school is like a camp. You stay there, no electronic devices allowed, for 3 years" I said.

His mouth dropped. I could see the sadness in his eyes.

"3 years?" He asked. "Are you sure?"

I nodded.

I explained more in the way to my driveway. We walked to my driveway and when we got there my mom was already in the car waiting for me.

"So I guess this is goodbye" I said.

"It's never goodbye" he said then hugged me.

I felt so safe when hugging him. Tears started to roll down my cheeks. He wiped them off and hugged me again.

"Promise to wait for me?" I asked.

"I promise." He said.

I entered the car and my mom started to drive. I looked at Caleb through the window.

He was crying too.
