It was the night of the royal ball. Hosted by the most famous group of royals known as the Late Night Crew, a particular prince, who is part of it caught your eye, it was Prince Snake

His voice, him being mysterious, his personality. Everything about him attracted you.

Your family was one of the well known nobles and you were invited to royal parties and balls. Your family, besides wealth and power, is known for their musical talent, so you are invited as a performer.

Your POV

Another royal gathering, another chance to see fellow nobles right. I was requested to perform. So put on my light blue dress, with a matching 3" heels and put my hair in a French braid. I put on minimal amount of makeup just in time, my mother called me

"Y/n! The carriage is here, are you ready?" My mother yelled
"Yes mother, I'm ready." I said
I descended the stairs and put my most calm and elegant face I could pull off and prepared for the night to come.

We arrived at the late night manor just in time for the ball to start, we are at the gate, greeted by the late night butler, Sebastian( a/n: do u know him?)

"Good evening m'ladies, I am Sebastian, butler of the late night crew. Surely my masters will be pleased that you have arrived" Sebastian said while assisting me and my mother off the carriage.
"Thank you Sebastian" I said, while I curtsied. "Welcome my lady" he said while bowing.

He lead us to the ballroom. As we entered, you could feel some eyes staring at you, but the most intimidating, are the stares from the balcony, where the Late Night Crew is seated. You tried to hide your face but it was no use.

You danced and chatted with a few friends until Sebastian lightly tapped your shoulder, you faced him and said "hello Sebastian, what's the matter?" He replied by saying " you are being summoned by the conductor of the orchestra, you were to perform, am I right?", "yes indeed, thank you for reminding me".

You then manage to make your way through the dancing crowd. You were then asked by the conductor what song and instrument you will play. "I will sing and play 'All of me' by John Legend, I will be using the piano." I said. He replied saying " we will make the necessary preparations for your performance". 15 minutes later

It was time.

You swallowed your fear and smiled brightly as you heard the introduction.

'Coming from a noble and talented family, y/n l/n will now perform' after that, the curtains rose, and you took a bow.

Sitting on the piano stool, you adjusted the microphone and started the intro of the song.
(A/n: I will skip the song coz I'm writing this at 12 am) you started singing and you could almost see every eye widen, including the ones of The Late Night Crew.

You played the last chord and everyone gave you a round of applause and standing ovation.
You bowed and extended an arm towards the orchestra and they bowed, then the curtains are lowered and you heaved a sigh of relief. "Finally, that's over with" you said, you then were engulfed into a huge bear hug, you almost lost your balance but managed to stay up.
