Your POV

'Police has raised red alert due to recent events here in England. Corpses have been found in alley ways, nearly unrecognizable because of missing body parts. Ghouls, flesh eating creatures that take the form of a human are blamed for these attacks and citizens are advised to stay in their homes and lurk around at night. For more information about Ghouls-'

"Here's your coffee, (y/n)" Dan said, handing me my coffee and sitting in front of me.
"What's wrong?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
"Well, you know how Ghouls are recently attacking more people? It kinda worries me that most of the incidents are near my place" sighing as I took a sip of my coffee.

Recently, I noticed that Dan has been acting quite weirdly. And now...I noticed he stiffen at the mention of ghouls, but relaxed soon as I finished. I wonder why....

"then....why don't you transfer?" He said, stirring his coffee.
"I've just lived there for nearly 2 years, i can't transfer. Plus, I doubt my parents will send me extra money for a new apartment." I said.
"Oh, shoot. I still have work to go to, sorry to cut our meeting short, Bye Dan" I said quickly, bringing my coffee then run nigh to the door.

3rd person's POV (gore up ahead, be warned)

"Oh sure, bye..." He trailed off as He saw her run. 'Guess I should leave' he thought to himself as he stood up, finishing up his coffee then walking out. A few blocks later, he gets slammed into a dark alley by an unknown female, who has black eyes with red pupils 'SHIT, A GHOUL!' He blocks her with his arm and tries to push her away but her strength overpowers him.

"You smell so good, I bet you taste great as well" she hungrily licks her lips and almost bites his arm, but she stops for a minute and grabs him by the neck and throws him to the opposite wall, yet she failed to notice the scaffolding. Her strength as a ghoul is too much and the scaffolding topples over both of them, piercing Dan in the stomach and the girl, killing her instantly. The security guard of the construction site then calls the paramedics once he saw the incident.

Dan's POV
'Ugh, what happened.' I slowly open my eyes and het used to the light. 'White walls, dextrose, and the smell of sanitized air....Yep, definitely a hospital..' I look around and notice someone on the Side of my bed. It's (y/n), she looks like she's been crying based on the dried tear streaks on her cheeks. My face becomes slightly warm when I see her hand holding mine. She stirs slightly then wakes up.

"Dan, you're awake. I'm so relieved to see you're okay." She suddenly hugs me.

"Yeah, what happened?" I put my palm on my forehead as I feel a slight headache coming up.
"An unstable construction site fell down on you and another person, you got pierced on your stomach by a metal pole, unfortunately for the girl she was on a very critical condition and was dead on arrival here in the hospital. So the doctors had her stomach transferred to you for you to be okay." She explained.

"Wow...all that happened?...." I mumble as I try to comprehend what she told me. Suddenly Phil enters the room and rushes to me. He then hugs me.

"Damn bro, I thought you would die. Glad to see you alive." The hug lasts only for a second the he pulls away.

"You can't get rid of me that easily, Phil" I smirk. I notice (y/n) smile as she sees both of us fooling around.

"Oh yeah, Dan you're gonna get discharged by tomorrow, take it easy alright. I have to go. " (y/n) said as she lightly kisses the top of my head.

"Y-yea, okay. Thanks (y/n)" I blush as I see her leave. Phil gives me a knowing smirk.

"Why are you smirking?" I said raising my eyebrow.
"Dude, you're whipped." He smirks.
"M-maybe I am." He then gives me a nuggie.

It has been WAY TOO LONG SINCE I HAVE UPDATED THIS AND. I. FEEL. GUILTY.
I just recently graduated middle school (yay!) and I am now in my summer vacation so I'll try to have an update quota per 2 weeks or so? So yea. For those who already know this plot/anime. Please please please forgive me, I have to get back into My Writing Zone (hehe get it >~<) and I have nothing to write about. Original plot goes to the original owner, I'll alter the ending thou. So yea.
