Getting in the Castle (The Battle of Heart and Mind)

Upon making it to the castle only one thing laid in the way of Bella and Adelric facing the witch, for no one knew that there was a spell placed to make what one would never say out loud to as if they are speaking from the heart. This spell has made the people of Taruses afraid to step with in twenty feet of the castle. Unknowing of this both Adelric and Bella made their way towards the castle not knowing the worse of what could happen to them.

"Bella, there is something that I have been meaning to tell you," Adelric says when the castle was insight.

"What is that, soldato," Bella asked scared of what would he would say next.

"I am only with you for your beauty and to save the one I really love from this mess I call a life until the castle was back under my family's rule."

Not knowing what had gotten into Adelric, Bella was able to see things for what they were after she had him explain it even more to him.

"I don't love you Bella, never have never will. You're just a pretty face that I like to look at and if you are willing I would love to have more than just a kiss from you before I get hitched to Layla."

"Adelric, you don't mean that. This is not you, remember what Leo had told us before we left," she said while taking ahold of his hand.

Adelric thinking about what she had said pulled over and brought Bella in for a long hug with tears coming down his cheeks. "Oh colomba, I'm so sorry I don't know what happened or why I had said that."

"It's alright. It was the spell so we must be close. Just remember that I love you Adelric and I always will," Bella said pulling back to look into his face.

"I know that colomba, just as I know that you hold my heart and have since I first met you."

"Now let's go get your kingdom back, mio saldato," and with that they were back on the road to the castle.

Once at the castle Bella and Adelric were stopped by men and escorted to the throne room. Not knowing of the witch having another letting her know about Adelric being near the castle. Taken out of the car and pulled away from each other fighting, Adelric was handcuffed by the guards and dragged into the castle towards the throne room. Upon entering there he started to fight harder in order to find and get back to Bella soon. Unknowing of this and the fact that Adelric was chained to a wall in the throne room, Bella was waking up in a room only fit for a maid not that of a royal fiance, for you see as they were being torn from each other Bella was knocked unconscious once Adelric was out of sight. When someone finally opened up the door to Bella's room after her constant pounding and yelling, it was a sweet old lady who was the head maid.

"Hello, my dear. My name is Clare Grace, I'm the head maid here," the lady said. "Here is your uniform and once you're dressed, I will show you around and tell you of your tasks you will need to accomplish each day."

"I can't be where you say I am. I need to be near the prince he needs me," Bella told the Clare.

"Now get thoughts like that out of your head sweet girl. Prince Adelric disappeared the night his Father was killed, God rest his soul. No one has seen the prince scene and quite frankly no one believe that they ever will, not here anyways." Clare had spoken to her while placing the uniform on the bed next to Bella. "The least you can do is the same and forget all about him, or who ever told you that they were our lost prince."

"You've given up hope, he risked ending his curse for you and the others of his kingdom, and you all have given up hope on him. Has everyone here in this kingdom lost sight of the fact that their prince will come and save them."

"Only those that have been here since before the one who rules these lands now have taken over and harmed our King, and not mention the prince outside of this room girl. She will surely have you disposed of if you do."

"You've been here before Adelric was born right," Bella asked remembering that she was wearing the ring that used to be Adelric's mother's before she had passed. Clare nodded not understanding where Bella was getting at. "Than you must have seen the Queen wearing this when she had married the King," Bella spoke showing the ring on her hand to Clare.

"Where did you get that child," she asked while grabbing Bella's hand for a closer look at the ring made for Queen Rose by King Jacob.

"Adelric gave it to me before we crossed the border into Taruses yesterday."

"Then the prince is really here, back home where he belongs. Oh I never thought I would see the day that my prince would save us all and I would see my love again," Clare cried out in happiness hugging Bella. "Where is he where is Prince Adelric?"

"I don't know we were seperated when we got to the castle by some guards. They pulled him away from me, we were both fighting to stay with each other and next thing I know I'm waking up here with my head hurting."

Looking towards the door Clare realizes that the witch had her men that came with her to take over the kingdom had done to Adelric and Bella. Also knowing where she would have put the prince, Clare knew what she had to do in order to get the two loves together to destroy the witch once and for all.

"I know where he will be, but hurry and get dressed in the uniform and I will take you. There is just one thing you need to know, no matter what happens or how he looks, both your lives depend on you not showing her your emotions when it comes to him or what is being done to him. My love had told me to carry this with me at all times, before he had left the Kingdom. He said I would know what to do when the time was right and to never forget him or this ring he help the king make his sister." Clare said pulling out a sapphire red dagger with hints of rose gold in the handle. " I know what he meant now. Your weapon to kill the witch and help set this Kingdom and her prince free once and for all."

Taking the blade from Clare, Bella all of a sudden knew how and where the blade would do the most damage to the witch and make it to where no one in that family line or any other family line for that matter. "Let's go kill a witch and save this Kingdom."

A/N: Hey sorry for the long wait on this chapter I ended up being really busy with work and trying to find a new job to get me away from somethings I don't want in my life at work or anywhere else.
