Chapter 2 - If Only, Then We Would've!

I am currently outside the classroom, by the door, waiting for the teacher to introduce me. She's taking too long though and I really want to sit down.

"Before I forget, I would like to introduce to all of you a new transfer student who couldn't come this morning," Okay this is it. I brushed my hair and fixed my collar. My right hand clenched the doorknob. I'm ready.

"Oh Gosh! Isn't he the one that Lon-kun said he came with from Carolinas?!" a girl suddenly said,

...What?

"They're best friends right?! I bet he's as hot as Lon-kun is!" another girl said,

...WHAT?

"And as cute and adorable as he is!" this time, it was a guy's voice

WHAT?!

"Let's give a warm welcome to Soraru Lilleswell," the teacher said, introducing me.

The whole classroom was making cheering noises, wow everyone sure sounds excited to see me. I smiled to myself. I want to rain on their parade. So I slammed the door open and swiftly made my way in front of them.

"Hi," I smiled as widest, happiest, adorablest way I can. "I'm Soraru Lilleswell."

Okay, I wanted to rain on their parade but, I killed the parade. Why's everyone so quiet? I know you're all shocked that I'm a girl with a boy's name but why are you all emotionless?! Even the teacher isn't saying anything!

"Y-you," I hesitate, "You can all call me Ru." I bowed.

Then suddenly, Makoto, & Haruka stood up and pointed at me, "You're Ru?!"

It's now the last period of the afternoon. After Makoto and Haruka spoke, the room bursted into screams... but mostly squeals from both genders. When I made my way to my seat, I stopped by Lon to wave but he purposely laughed at me. That bastard.

"Hi," a girl that seats next to me suddenly said.

"M-me?" I said pointing to myself.

"Yes you. I'm Prudence! You can call me Pru-chan." I'll leave the 'Chan'

"Oh hi, I'm-"

"Soraru, I know! Can we be friends?" she said, cutting me off.

"Yeah of course." I answered.

"...Does this mean I'm indirectly friends with Lon-kun?~~~" she suddenly asked,

I laughed and then nodded. Prudence smiled to her self. Damn. First day of school and my best friend is already identified as one of the hottest guys in the campus. I need to catch up in this game!

The bell rang and it was time to go home. I quickly went over to Lon's seat.

"Hey Lon-"

"Lon-kuuuuun! Wanna go home together?" a girl suddenly said, squishing me.

"No! Lon's going home with me!" another girl said, squishing me as well.

"You bitches get out of my way! I'm taking Lon home!" a giant guy suddenly said towering over the other people that surrounded us,

"Soraru! I'll take you home!"

"I'll take Sora-kun and Lon-chan home!"

"No I do!---"

Before we could get anymore squished, I grabbed Lon's hands and ran away as fast and as far as possible. But these guys aren't leaving us alone, they also suddenly chased after us. Only after a few meters did we shake them off our trail.
