Chapter 6: Poker

Besides drinking and talking with friends and flirting with nurses, one thing Hawkeye liked to do was play poker. It was pretty much the only game the staff of the 4077th M*A*S*H could think of I guess. But the good thing that came out of it was having a good time.

It wasn't just for the money Hawkeye played poker for. But also the company. He enjoys having people around him. He and his friends would play poker and they would just be their typical selves. But they would also get competitive in their games of poker though.

And sometimes they would drink while playing poker. And they would crack jokes and tell each other stories around the poker table. They also just had general conversations of anything in the world. 

But most of the things they talked about was about the war, or what's going on back in the states they came from that was sent in their letters. 

They also talked about their jobs too. They would talk about their patients also. They would talk about their vitals, how they're recovering, surgeries and all that kind of stuff.

There wasn't really nothing they couldn't talk about. They're was a lot  of stuff to chat on and on about. Hawkeye always has lots to say. He is like one of the biggest talkers in the camp. But who would blame him? It's a good thing to have great social skills as great as Hawkeyes. The war can be a tough thing to go through. And it's always good to have companions. For Hawkeye it was a good thing he met the people he met.
