I felt wind. Wait, wasn't I supposed to be in bed? Aunt May would call me any minute, right?
Then the memories came flooding back; Loki, school, the green portal. I snapped my eyes open and let out a very undignified yell. I was falling from the sky, hurtling towards the street below.
I stretched out my hand and shot a web at a building, groaning as the weight threatened to dislocate my shoulder.
I swung, using the momentum to propel me upwards, landing on a lamp post. That's when I realized this was not right.
First of all, there was a huge sign that read, 'Central City' second, there was a park and people were actually walking around in it.
I thought back to Loki. He said he didn't want me messing with his plans, and he sent me here. But why?
I didn't have much time to think about it. Before I could jump down and see where I was exactly, a red flash suddenly appeared in front of me.
My spider-sense went haywire as the blur settled down, showing a guy. He had on a red suit, gold streaks lined his thighs and arms. And on his chest was the image of a lightning bolt.
We both looked at each other. He wasn't attacking me, so I had no idea if he was bad or not.
"Uh, who are you?" I asked, flipping down from the lamp post.
Red looked confused, "I'm The Flash. But I should be asking you the same question. Who are you?"
"Well," Shouldn't he have heard of me or something? "I'm Spider-Man."
Flash looked at me suspiciously, "You're not a meta-human, are you?"
I was glad I had on a mask to hide my confusion, "A mat- what?"
Flash shook his head and spoke to someone, "Hey, I need you to prepare a cell just in case. I might've found a meta."
I backed up, "Woah, I'm no villain, I promise you that. And I have no idea where I am,"
Flash sighed, "Can you just come with me? We might be able to figure things out back at Star Labs."
I shrugged, "Yeah, okay. Just . . . no cells?"
Flash grabbed my arm and we . . . uh, flashed away. The whole city was a blur as we past, a mass of grey as we past buildings and roads.
Just as suddenly as it had started, the speed stopped and I hit a white wall, feeling like I would throw up, "Ugh, next time, I'm taking my way around the city."
I quickly forgot my nauseousness and stared around me. We were in a room with a long desk in the stacked with computers. A guy was sitting at the desk with a girl, looking shocked at what had happened.
"Ba- Flash, what are you doing? You can't just bring in a complete stranger!" the girl said, getting up from her seat. She had on a white lab coat and long, curly brown hair. She was actually kinda pretty- in a dangerously mad looking way.
The guy jumped up from his seat, "Woah, another meda-human? Wow, you have a suit! What powers do you have? Are you evil or good? What's your name? Where did you come from? When did you- ?"
Flash held up his hand, "Cisco, this is Spider-Man. And Spider-Man, this is Cisco and Caitlin, my friends."
I rubbed my head, "This is awesome, I mean, you're like a team?"
Cisco opened his mouth to reply, but Flash interrupted, "Look, we can't just let a complete stranger in here and let them in on all of our secrets. We need to know who you are and where you came from."
I hesitated, "You mean, you want to know who's under the mask?"
Flash nodded. Caitlin still looked like she was about to blow a gasket, and Cisco looked positively thrilled.
These people seemed okay, I just wasn't sure I wanted to show them my face. What if they turned out evil?
Flash seemed to read my thoughts, "You know, we're not bad guys, right? We help and save people in this city."
I sighed and took off my mask, "Okay, my name's Peter Parker."
Flash looked surprised that I actually had taken it off, "So, Peter. Where did you come from, and why did you fall from the sky?"
I quickly explained about my small battle with Loki, "Oh, cool! The god of tricks is real, too?!" Cisco looked like Christmas had come early. Caitlin seemed especially shocked by the portal I had described.
"You mean, he just opened a portal and you came through?" she asked.
"Pretty much," I agreed, "But that's all that happened."
Flash was quiet for a minute. Then he sighed, "I have to talk to Joe and Iris about this, I'll be back." With that, he was gone in a ball of lightning.
I looked from Cisco too Caitlin, "So . . . "

Caitlin put the sample of blood I had given her into her computer slot, "Thanks, Peter. This should help us figure out which universe you're from."
"Again," I asked, "How are you going to get me there to stop Loki?"
Cisco hopped into the room, "That's where I come in, Webhead. I have powers that can manipulate time and space, I'll be able to zap you back to your own dimension!"
I nodded slowly, "Right, okay. And if that works, Flash might help me?"
The room went quiet for a minute. Caitlin let the computer work, "Ba- Flash, he's had a really rough time. I'm not sure if he will or not."
"But I'm sure Flash'll help you," Cisco said, "I mean, this is a god we're talking about! Who wouldn't want to fight a god?"
I grinned, "Yeah. You're right."
