What was I supposed to think now? A spider literally falls from the sky, Joe finds something to do with another speedster, and I've been having nightmares every other night. All of that on top of all the other meta-human sightings, and . . . Zoom, it was hard.
By the time I arrived at Joe's house, it was dusk, and the setting sun shone through the windows of his house.
I knocked on the door and came in, "Hey, Joe? I've got some really crazy news for you and Iris."
Joe came out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee, "What is it, Barry? Did you figure out what happened with the sky?"
Iris came in behind him and sat down at the table, "Yeah, I heard what happened at the news station, are you alright?"
I sat on the couch, "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. There was this super weird person who fell out of the sky though."
As I explained the story, I could see Joe and Iris give signs of disbelief. Hey, how many times do you see a man of spiders fall from the sky, right? I thought.
"So, this Spider-Man is a good guy?" Joe asked, setting his coffee down.
"Supposedly," I said, not believing myself, "He says he's a good guy."
I fell quiet. I had trusted two men in my life, and one turned out to be the murderer of my mother, and the other was my father's killer. I wasn't about to let someone else into life, and let them take someone else too.
Joe's hand rested on my shoulder, "You're okay, right?"
"Truthfully," I said, shaking my head, "No. It's been too much."
Iris bit her lip, "Barry, I think that- "
But I didn't get to hear what Iris thought. Because beside the door, I saw someone I thought I would never see again. My father.
I stood up, unaware of Joe and Iris, all my attention pointed on the man that stood beside the doorway, "Dad?"
The man smiled, "My boy. I am so proud of you."
I could feel my heart beat painfully hard, "But how? Zoom killed you!"
In the background, I could hear Joe and Iris calling to me, but I pushed their voices aside. I had to see my father.
"Barry," he said softly, "I would never leave you. Zoom is not here anymore, and I am alive. Now we can be together, like you always wanted."
I felt like I was in a trance, "But- "
"Come with me, son," my father said, "Your mother is waiting to see you. We both are missing the time we used to spend together."
My heart felt like it was being torn in half, "No, you're not real. You're NOT real!"
The smile that curled his lips vanished, his whole body shuddered, "No. I am not your father, Flash." The skin and bone melted away until there was nothing left. Blue lightning suddenly flickered around the form of shadow and regrew into a man.
But not like any other man. He had on silver armor that shone with dark blue energy, his breath coming in low rasps, "I'll kill you, Barry Allen."
I stumbled backwards and bumped into something, "Who are you?" I asked, even though my fear clearly showed through my voice.
"Savitar," the voice echoed, "The god of speed. And you, Flash, are my next target."
"BARRY!"
I shook my head and looked around, "Where is he?"
Iris and Joe were looking at me worried, "Who?" Joe asked.
"Savitar!" I said, my voice shaking, "The man you've been seeing around the security cameras!"
Iris and Joe exchanged looks. Joe got up, "Barry, there was no one in here."
I backed up, "No, no, he was standing right there!" I pointed to the spot where the god had been standing, "He was my father . . . at first, then, him."
"Look, guys," I said, pulling my mask back up, "I've gotta go and tell the others."
Before either of them could protest, I ran.

"Oh great. So now we have to deal with a god from my world, and a god from your world," Peter said, sitting on a chair, "How could this day get any better?"
I paced as Cisco and Caitlin worked furiously on the computers.
"I don't know how we're going to stop this guy," I said after a moment of silence, "He said he was the 'god' of speed. That has to be really fast."
"Hey, maybe I could help with this guy," Peter volunteered, "I have some experience fighting super villains."
I looked at him, "Yeah, maybe. I just, I don't know."
He twisted his mask in his hands, "So, can I know who you are? Since I showed you who I am?"
My hands clenched, then I relaxed. This guy was friend, not an enemy, right?
I pulled off the mask, "Yeah, sorry. My name's Barry Allen."
Peter grinned, "Cool. So now that we all trust each other and stuff, how are we gonna save both of our worlds?"
I rubbed my head, "First, we'll figure out how to get back to your world. Then we'll worry about how to stop the two gods."
"You can't stop me, Flash," a voice suddenly growled, "I am the future, present and past. You can't beat me."
I snapped my head around, "Where are you?"
Peter looked at me quizzically, "What are you talking- oh boy. . . " he trailed off.
In front of me, stood Savitar in his silver armor. I could hear Caitlin gasp, and Cisco choked out, "Bad guy."
"What do you want?" I yelled, "You want to come and kill me? Then leave the others out of it!"
Savitar's head turned to look at Peter, then back to me, "My partner wants the spider. He said I could do what I want with you, Barry Allen."
I tensed, "Who's your partner?"
"I am, child." another voice laughed.
Peter jumped up, "You!"
A man in green and gold armor stepped out of a swirling green portal. A gold staff glowed and lit up the room in spite of all the LED lights.
"Loki?" I asked, under my breath.
Peter nodded, "That'll be him."
Loki and Savitar stood in the middle of our room, expecting us to do something. I glanced at Peter, who now had his mask back on.
He gave me a faint command, which I heard perfectly, "Attack."
