Chapter Three ~ 'Tanya'
~Aryan~
I glance down at my Rolex "She's late". Neil looks up at me, a knowing look crossing his face "Maybe she's not scared of you, thinking your words were meaningless, wouldn't be the first time".
I glare at him, my facing twisting angrily as I stride off into the littered carnival grounds. I control myself as I hear Neil's chuckle.
I enter the small clearing and glance around. I see a shadow looming from a tree, a smirk flits across my face. I walk on pretending I haven't seen.
~Shanti~
I hugged the tree trunk, my forehead creasing in worry! My breath returned to normal as he walked away from the tree.
A gunshot fired in the air. Startled I shriek loosing my grip on the tree, I close my eyes as I begin to spiral downwards.
I'm not falling?. I slowly open my eyes to see a pair of inquisitive green eyes staring down at me. His pink lips part but I don't hear what he's saying.
~Aryan~
"Aryan! Don't wake up the entire neighbourhood!" Neil says running his hands through his hair.
I seethe "Where.Is.She!."
"Aryan" Neil calls. I turn to see Neil's gaze glued to the girl lying unconscious in his arms. I smirk, well at least that gunshots succeeded in something.
I stalk over, me eyes studying her. I flick her chin up inspecting her."That's her" I spit in disgust.
I turn and walk in the direction of our car. "Driver I'll take it from here, leave" I throw a 100 rupee note at him. He looks at Neil and Shanti hesitantly. "Go" I snarl. He nods and walks away.
"Put her in the back " I say simply turning to drop in to the drivers seat.
"Walking train?" Neil asks. I nods and in sync smirks light up our faces. The car roars into action as we speed down the road.
"What about the girl?" Neil glances back at her unconscious body lying across the seats.
"She'll be out for a while, you going to miss a night with Sheila, I'll take your place eagerly" I drawl wiggling my eyebrows at Neil.
He scowls and then laughs, throwing a friendly punch at my side.
~Shanti~
I groan, holding my head. My eyes slowly flicker open and I blink rapidly as I come to. I sit up and glance around at this luxurious car in confusion.
My eyebrows raise and my memories rush back to me. Thakur.
Panic heightens inside me as I rush to the cars door, attempting to open it surprisingly the door clicks open. I gasp as I take in a breath of fresh air.
