(y/n) shuffled around in her stance as she held her binder. God, she shouldn't have worn heels today. Now she's going to trip and all everywhere. Today is (y/n)'s first day on the job. This is also her kid's first day of school. Maple Bay should be a very interesting place to stay at. New people, 'new life', her kid is super excited about it though. However, (y/n) is a tad anxious about her job. She's going to have no idea what she has to do. That's why, Damien Bloodmarch is her mentor for the day.

As he approached her, he had a calm collected style. Damien's smile on his face expressed pleasant thoughts and excitement for a new person. It's honestly nice to have new people here, Damien knows everyone far too well in this crazy hell-hole. (y/n) smiled back and placed some hair behind her own ear. Damien extended his hand to shake her's. (y/n) then hesitated to put her hand on his. What if her hands were too sweaty? Anyways, she ended shaking his hand. Both of them had smiled now. They exchanged their names and the roles they play in this job.

Damien then began to walk with (y/n). He began to show her around the place. Telling where her office is and such. He also did crack a few jokes and (y/n) couldn't help but laugh. When they did get to her office, she placed all of her things down. Damien waited patiently so they can continue the tour. After that, she left the office and began to pay attention. After a couple of more introductions the tour came to an end. Damien stopped walking and stood right in front of her. He's so tall. She gulped and shuffled as a small blush formed on her face.

"Thank you, I can't wait to work with you." She stared up at him as he spoke.

"Yes Ms. (y/n), I glad you're on the team. Come to me if you have any questions. I will assist you." He smiled, though before it escaped his mind her spoke, "By the by, I'm hosting a dinner this Saturday. I would love for you to join us. You do have a child right? If so, you can bring him or her. There'll be lots of people that you can meet there." Damien smiled.

(y/n) spoke, "I, um, thank you but... I don't want to intrude."

"It's fine, shall we exchange numbers so I can call you later about this?" Damien spoke, (y/n) nodded right after.
