Chapter 15

Lucy's POV
I groan in annoyance as I furiously type things in my computer about this Akamine Chidori person.

Ever since we got back to the cabin I've been researching on her and I can't find a single thing. Not even a book written by her. But...why would she only write one book? And about dragons especially.

It's like she completely removed herself of this world. No history, no clues, diaries, anything for that matter!

Now I have no idea what we're gonna do. Oh geez. And I thought being at this camp was bad, but now that I can't figure this mystery out, it'll bother me more than Natsu.

Speaking of Natsu, the boys still haven't brought Wendy back yet. I wonder what they're doing.

"Hey guys...the boys aren't back with Wendy yet." I tell the group while looking up, but I sweat drop seeing the sight in front of me.

There it is, 4 girls asleep either on the floor or beds. It's then that I realize we don't actually stick to where we're suppose to sleep, and just do whatever.

Great. Now I'm left alone to find them.

I get up off of my bed and slip on some flip flops before heading out the door to search for Wendy.

But to my surprise the boys are already back with Wendy who is happily conversing with Romeo.

Natsus POV
We're walking back to the cabin, on our way to take Wendy home and I'm bracing myself for what Erza's gonna do to us since it's so late. The thought makes me want to go home and hide under my pillow.

Being the student council president gives power, and even though Erza is very antisocial she is a scary woman. I once caught her pinning a kid up to a wall because he missed the trash can.

"Hey Natsu," Gray snaps me out of my thoughts, "what are you thinking about?" He asks.

"Nothing really."

"Are you sure? Cause it looked like somethings on your mind."

"Yeah I'm positive."

"Ok whatever you say."

"Guys were here." Gajeel cut in.

I snapped my head up towards the cabin we were standing in front of. I watch Wendy walk over to Lucy, who is currently standing in front of her cabin door, and greet her. I smile and wave at the her but she just gives a small nod and turns to enter her cabin.

I unconsciously furrow my eyebrows at her shy behavior but shake it off and follow behind the guys who are headed towards our cabin now.

Soon enough we reach the opposite side of camp and reach our cabin which is the fifth cabin from the bonfire. Instantly go to my bed and flop down on it, not caring that I didn't change. I use my feet to take my shoes off before falling into a deep slumber.

Lucy's POV
"There asleep already?" Wendy asks as soon as we walk into our cabin. I look down at her and giggle.

"It was already dark when we got to the lake and they were all exhausted from running from the boys. I'm kinda tired too." I reply.

She nods and starts to change into her pajamas while I on the other hand, head towards my bed and shut off my laptop. Deciding that I can work on the research tomorrow, I go to bed.

I'm currently sitting in the library with my laptop on the table, sipping on some hot chocolate while trying to research the author of that book, Akamine Chidori.

It's strange that there is zero information on someone that could be so important.

My big question is, how can there be no record of her whatsoever? Hopefully Levy will be able to find something if I can't.

I sigh after about another half hour and give up, closing my laptop and holding it in my arms while walking to the exit, throwing away my disposable foam cup in the process.

I walk out of the library to see a bunch of the other campers from last night sleepily walking around the camp lazily rubbing there eyes every now and then.

I sigh and turn to head towards my cabin. When I had left every one else was still asleep so I'm hoping there awake and maybe we can do something.

I usually want to stay inside but with the weather, and knowing we have a beach volleyball court, that gives us extra practice time for the school year and maybe Wendy could make Varsity her Freshmen year too. I still want to earn my place also, so I think we should all practice since the spot isn't just a given.

Soon I reach the cabin and enter to see everyone awake. Levy is reading a book, Ezra is cleaning up her bed, which is covered in different outfits, and the other three are in an intense game of go fish, Juvia being the victor at the moment.

"Hey guys" I say. Their head snap in my direction signaling I have there attention. "What ya doin'?" I ask, even though it's pretty obvious.

"Well this game of go fish is sort of getting boring." Juvia comments dropping her cards on the ground.

"I agree." Wendy says putting her card down also.

"But guys~ I was about to win." Mira pouts before collecting the cards. We all giggle at her whiny attitude.

"Mira, Juvia was winning." Wendy deadpans.

"Yeah but I was just letting her win, I could have won if I wanted."

"I'm pretty sure the game goes off luck." Wendy sweatdrops.

I giggle before starting my own conversation. "Levy I haven't found anything on the author of the book 'x777 Dragons Mysterious Disappearance'" I tell her. She looks up at me with confusion written on her face before speaking.

"Not one thing?" I shook my head. "Not even a picture?" I shook my head again. She smiled before saying "Leave it to me!" She says confidently puffing out her chest.

I giggled.

"Do any of you want to go to the mess hall?" I ask after a few minutes of silence.

They all look at me and nod in agreement before slipping on some flip flops and all heading out.

"I'm going to have strawberry cake." Ezra says placing her order before anyone else's. Levy got a chocolate chip pancake, Juvia got a western omelet, Wendy got a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, Mira got a blueberry cheesecake and I just got some fruit.

After we all placed our orders we stood in line and waited for our food until it came out. It wasn't long before we all got our plates of food and went to go and sit down at a booth in the corner, out of view of the entrance.

We were all enjoying our food until I heard some familiar voices. I froze and everything inside of me stopped.

I slowly turned my head to look behind me and I quickly brought my head back into the booth,before they saw me, and quieted everyone down.

They all stopped what they were doing and looked at me questioningly before realization dawned on them and they all ducked their heads, me included, except for Wendy and Levy since they were short enough not to be seen.

We all hurriedly finished our breakfast and quietly tried to sneak out when I suddenly heard Natsu speak.

"Guys look who's here!"
