Summer Camp(A Nalu, Gruvia, Gale, Jerza, Miraxus fanfic)

Chapter 2

Levys POV
"Wait...can you please repeat that?" I asked my dad.

"You mother and I think it's best for you to go to summer camp this summer." He repeated for the 5th time.

I was in utter shock. I couldn't believe that my parents were making me go to summer camp. I was also a little irritated because my parents felt that I should make friends. I don't understand the reason why they think this but I have two friends and that's all I need. Jet and Droy.

They are two very good friends and I don't need more than them. And what sucks, is that I wasn't going to be able to see them anyways this summer because they are going on vacation with there parents. So I'm all alone.

Anyways, today is the last day of school before summer vacation and my parents woke me up extra early to tell me this before I got ready. Wow...thanks for the early heads up.

I shook off the information they gave me and got ready for school. Usually the day goes fast for me because I love learning, but I was hoping today would go extra slow.

I pulled out my uniform from my dresser so I could start getting dressed. The uniform consisted of a white blouse with an orange vest and some navy blue socks that stopped just below the knee and some black shoes.

I grabbed a fluffy towel and took a quick shower since I had time. I hopped out and put on my uniform along with some deodorant and perfume. I then slipped on my navy blue jacket with the fairy tail symbol at the top left of the jacket and grabbed my bag. On my way out of my room I grabbed some other essentials like my orange and white ombre hydro flask, and earbuds. After finishing in my room I headed downstairs towards the kitchen.

I entered the kitchen and was greeted by nothing. It's pretty lonely in the morning  since my parents both leave to work at 6:00 in the morning. Kind of sad but I'm used to it by now. They've been leaving me alone in the mornings since they realized I was competent enough to make myself breakfast and get to school. 

I sighed and put some bread in the toaster and waited impatiently. When it was finally done I spread some peanut butter on top and topped it with some blueberries and strawberries. This is one of my favorite breakfasts to make. Quick, easy and healthy. 

I finished around 6:45 and decided I had enough time to finish freshening up, other than brushing my teeth of course. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and finish any last minute touch ups before finally leaving

When I was sure I was presentable enough to go to school I turned off the bathroom lights and threw my bad on my back. Fully equipped with water bottle and earbuds, which is all I need anyways. I walked out the door and pulled out a book to read while walking. Besides watching my favorite TV shows or playing games on my phone, reading books is one of my favorite things to do to pass the time. 

~Time Skip At School~

I walked into the school and saw a crowded hallway. Great. I thought to myself as I struggled to make it through the hallway. I saw four other girls trying to make there way through the hallway too. Lucy, Ezra, Mirajane and Juvia. I only know their names because we're on the same volleyball team. If I didn't play the sport than I probably wouldn't know anyone to be honest. 

I finally got to my locker, grabbed my books and made my way to Ms. Aries Class.

I entered her classroom to see mathematics on the board. I put my book in my bag and sat in the corner of the classroom. I was not ready for school to start. I set my bag down and sat down at my desk and pulled out my notebook and waited for the bell to ring.

Ms. Aries walked into a classroom and started teaching after the bell rang. I was completely zoned out, not paying attention in the slightest. The only thing on my mind was when I had to leave for summer camp.

The door opened to the classroom and a Giant walked in. Well he was a giant to me. His name was Gajeel Redfox. I only knew that because he was always getting into trouble at our school or even outside of school. His main group of friends is Natsu, Gray, Jellal, and a junior named Laxus. They are always getting into trouble. Infamous with the teachers, and I would even say they liked it that way.

He walked in and just my luck the only seat open was the one next to me. Seriously this day couldn't get any worse. I thought to myself as he took a seat.

"Sorry I'm late teach." He said.

"Why are you late?" Ms. Aries asked shyly. I don't know how she got a job as a teacher because she always seems nervous.

Gajeel pulled out his excuse about his car not starting again. Ms. Aries nodded her head but I just rolled my eyes. I don't know how they get away with so much, but it's honestly kind of funny.

~Time Skip Lunch~
Lunch finally rolled around after four agonizing hours. I was happy because during lunch I go and sit out by the water fountain in the garden. We're not suppose to but I do anyways. Nobody ever notices either despite the fact that we have security cameras everywhere at FTH(Fairy Tail High if you didn't already guess;))

I quickly go to the lunch room and I grab a sandwich, wanting nothing more than to go to the garden and sit in peace while I read my book. 

When I walk out the doors of the lunch room I smell the fresh air and smile for the first time today. I walked over towards the garden setting my stuff down next to the water fountain.

I climbed on top of the water fountain and started reading my favorite book, Beauty and the Beast. A little later the bell rang and it was time to go to class, to my utter disappointment. I sighed and grabbed my stuff, heading towards the next classroom. 

~Time Skip~
After school I think I walked home more slow than I have ever walked in my entire life. And that's saying something, given the fact that I'm so damn short everyone seems to be moving a million miles an hour. I swear no matter how fast I move my legs I can't keep up. Oh, and I even stopped at a park to read my book just to pass more time. I knew that I could only get away with it for so log before my parents started contacting me. Eventually I started walking home again, much to my dismay.

I am now reaching the door, and was about to open the it until I heard a crash from the inside. Startled I hurriedly opened the door to see my father in the kitchen with a bunch of pans on the floor. He was probably trying to cook something. He was never good at cooking that's why my mom always takes care of it. She thinks it's cute when he tries though.

"Hey dad." I greeted.

"Oh! Your home...sorry for the mess hehe." He laughed nervously. I playfully rolled my eyes and giggled at his nervousness.

"Here, let me help you clean this up." I offered. He waved his hand and shook his head though. I made a confused face. 

"Why?" I asked.

"Don't you remember? You have to pack for camp! Now go I don't want you to be missing anything. Your energy should be focused on packing everything you need" He reminded. I sighed loudly and sadly while turning and heading towards my room. "You'll thank us for it in the future!" My dad hollered. 

"We'll see about that!" I yelled back shaking my head.

I walked up to my room and started packing things into my orange duffel bag. I put the essentials inside and then I packed a bunch of books in another bag. Even though it was only 8:30 I was really tired so I decided to go to bed. I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth and changed into some pajamas and went to bed.

~Time Skip Next Morning~
I woke up the next morning agonizingly at 6:00am. I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth and changed into some white shorts with an orange spaghetti strap crop top. Grabbing my luggage I got on the bus that would take me to the worst summer vacation ever.
