Summer Camp(A Nalu, Gruvia, Gale, Jerza, Miraxus fanfic)

Chapter 13

Lucy's POV
"No fair Erza. That one hurt." Levy complained while rubbing her nose.

"I'm sorry Levy! I have been such a nuisance. You may hit me wherever!" Erza says putting her right fist over her heart.

"Thanks but I'm good." Levy replies. But Erza just keeps rambling on about restoring honor and forgiveness.

I giggle a bit. I had no idea that Erza was this open to people she knew. I feel happy now that I'm more comfortable with them. I can't believe that I never warmed up to them in volleyball. How did I not even know there names? I guess I was just to caught up in practicing to pay attention to them.

"Can we go to the library now?" Levy asks now over the little mishap in volleyball.

Flashback

"Set me up!" Erza yelled. Wendy set her up and she spiked it straight to Levy. Levy got down and ready to pop the ball back up, but she was too close, and the ball hit her straight in the nose.

End of Flashback

"I suppose so." Erza answers. We immediately start walking towards the library, that's right next to the fire. Where all of the people are. At this thought I go grey and puff out a breath.

'Why does life have to be so hard?'

Levys POV
We soon arrive at the outskirts of the fire and Erza tells us we need to stay put while she checks the area to make sure we won't run into Gajeel and the others.

We stand around waiting for Erza for a little bit. And to kill time some of the others are talking. I personally think it's best to stay quiet. I have a habit of rambling when I'm comfortable around people.

Now I really wish Jet and Droy were here. At least I wouldn't feel so awkward all the time.

"Right Levy?" I hear Lu call my name.l, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention can you say that again?" I ask.

"Magic! It's inside of us, we just need I learn how to bring it out!" Lu says with a goofy smile and her fists pumped.

"It's believed to be, but no one has discovered it yet. The only things that have been able to use magic, were dragons a long time ago. And it's believed that some of the most powerful dragons only just disappeared in the year x777." I told them. They all had a look of interest on their faces which made me smile. At least I can start an interesting conversation with these girls.

"Wow that's so cool Levy! Do you know anymore?!" Lu asks.

"I'm afraid I don't know much more than that. That's why I wanted to go to the library. So I could read more into it. I've only read a few books." I told them.

"Oh. Maybe we'll find more information in the library." Lu says putting a finger to her chin.

"I really hope so!" I say cheerfully.

"If I had magic power what do you think my powers would be?!" Lu asks.

"Well you said your interested in the zodiac signs right?" I ask her.

"Yeah."

"So maybe it would have something to do with that!"

"Really? That sounds so cool..." she breathes.

"In honesty I believe that that way you would use your magic would be in your interests. Or heritage if a family member used something similar. Say I have an interest in books and ancient writings and scripts, so if I were to study a magic, I would want it to be incorporated with what I love most!" I explain getting a little excited.

"Woah, you have an interesting point." Wendy giggles.

I smile at her. "If Magic were to ever enter this world, it would be hard to figure out though, because there are no books about it. So we would have to figure it out on our own."

"That is true." Juvia chimes in.

"I'm hoping to find-"

"Ok girls coast is clear. We can head over to the library now." Erza cuts me off.

"Finally." Mira replies.

"So what were you gonna say Levy?" Lu asks me.

"I was just gonna say that I was hoping to find a book that might have been written during the dragon age. Maybe a human wrote a book before there demise." I told her.

"That would be nice. I wish I could learn how to use magic." I smile at her. She seems really interested.

"Hey Lu-chan maybe we search together?" I ask.

"That's a great idea Lev!" She replies happily. We enter the library and it's bigger than it looks. My eyes shine at all the books inside. It's like a wonder land!

I start walking and look for a section with dragons.

Ezra's POV
I refuse to tell the girls that I actually saw the boys by the bonfire. But it didn't look like they were looking for us so I figured it was ok. Besides I felt like I owed this to Levy after I practically spiked the volleyball down her throat. The poor girl.

I walked around for a little bit looking at the books finding no interest whatsoever with them, when one caught my eye.

The title was "x777 Dragons mysterious disappearance?" I'd never even heard of dragons until now, so I figured there was no harm in reading this book, but when I opened it, all the pages were blank. Not a single page had writing on it. I flipped through the book a couple of times trying to figure out if I had missed something, but to no avail.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and closed the book. That's when I heard a startling voice behind me.

"You found a book?! Can I read it?" Levy asked me.

"Sure but there's something strange about it." I said handing it to her. She went and sat down at a table and started flipping through the pages. I saw the look of confusion on her face and chuckled, then walked over to her. I slid out a chair from under the table and crossed my arms and lay them on top of the hard surface.

"I believe I had the same expression when I first opened the book. I don't understand it either, but I do intend to find out."

"Does it say the author of the book?" Levy mumbles to herself looking around the book for any clues. "Aha! Here it is. The authors name is Akamine Chidori."

"Mm, now all we have to do is find out where she's from and talk to her about it."

"Yeah, and maybe we'll find some answers."

"Whatcha reading?" I hear Lucy say all of the sudden. I look up to see her leaning over Levys shoulder, I assume trying to read the title of the book.

"It's about the dragons that disappeared in x777, but the strange thing is," Levy then opened the book and flipped through some pages, "there's nothing in it."
