Ten

  Amaya whipped her head towards Laito,who lays in her bed with no emotion. Amaya search all over his body,wanting some emotion to the word he said about Cordelia. She blinks,confuse as to what type of gone he is speaking of. "Did she leave?Did someone kidnap her? Did Heinz finally gave for what she wanted?"Amaya ponders as she cautiously glances at Laito. "What do you mean ,gone?" she snaps. 

Laito opens his mischievous green eyes at her. He stares at her then smirks at her reaction. He then lightly giggles and closes his eyes,pleased with her reaction. "I killed her."Laito reveals. Amaya's icy blue eyes widen for a second ,but then change." When was this?"she ask softly. Laito shrugs and explains that he ,Ayato,and Kanato had been the ones that killed her. Amaya leans against the bedpost,staring at Laito with a feeling that she has never felt before. Was it because it was mix with other? She didn't understand how he can be so casual with this. She has killed many people before, and she would love to kill Cordelia,but would she actually do it if she had the chance? She hated her from the bottom of her soul. She knew how much Cordelia have hurt them, and she knows how much they loved her back them even the way Cordelia has treat them. They were young. They didn't understand what love is. They thought that Cordelia was love. The way she would treat Laito ,Ayato and Kanato has develop into something more. Laito love for her turned into lust. A deep lust that is hard to fix. Ayato kind of love turned into deep hatred. Kanato love has turned into the combine love of Ayato and Laito which surpasses them both. However, with the three of them together. They can surpass anything. They will all slowly torture you. They will drain you on your last drop of blood.

Amaya was so deep into her thoughts,she didn't realize how close Laito was until she felt his warm breath on her. She blinks up and looks up into his eyes. He narrows his eyes a little bit as he notices that she is back into reality. His lips centimeters away from hers. She looks at his lips then back into his green eyes. They stay quiet for a little bit. His arms wrapped against her waist. He then whispers,"I can take all your pain away." 

Her arms slowly wrap around his neck,petting his hair. He then slowly leans in. Amaya closes her eyes,waiting for his cold lips to touch hers. She waits for him to take her pain away , but he never did as they both heard someone at the door,clearing their throat. Amaya opens her eyes and looks at the door. Her eyes widen as she sees Shu leaning against the door frame. Anger and jealousy in his eyes as he sees Laito touching her. Lust surrounding them. He wants to hold her like that. He wants her to lust over him, He wants her to love him. He wants both of them combine when they make love. However, he is afraid to love her and touch her. Shu thought he lost everything ,but then she has come back out of nowhere. He sometimes feel like she is just an illusion. A trick in his mind that there is hope in this world. But here she is,standing there. He doesn't want to hurt her or lose her. He lost her once then he lost his best friend, Edgar. It was too much. He is lonely,heartbroken,empty, and afraid. But when he was with her, holding her as he realizes it was really her, he felt warmth. He felt free,important,alive,and loved. He wants to feel that again and again. He wants her to take his pain away. 

She stares at him,seeing his pain. Her eyes filled with sorrow and pain as she looks at him. She is crying on the inside as she sees the mistakes she has made. She has been selfish and ignore his feelings. She wasn't the only one in pain. She felt guilt. She realizes that she was only hurting him more. Laito just stands there,still holding her,ignoring the eyes that were on him. He then nuzzles his face into her neck and took a deep breathe in her scent. She continues to stare at Shu,paralyzed. She then puts her hands on Laito chest. Her eyes begin to water as the pain and the guilt became too much for her. She opens her mouth,wanting to call Shu's name out but nothing comes out. She tries to call him again, but he just stares at her,his blue eyes filled with betrayal,as he walks away. Laito then begins to kiss her neck,as he hears Shu leave. He then begins to touch the hem of her dress.

SLAP. Suddenly,Laito stops. His right cheek a bright red and his fedora has fallen off. His eyes widen in shocked and he was paralyzed at her action. He let's her go and hold his cheek. He stares at her with confusion. Her eyes filled with so many emotions. Tears quickly rolling down her face. Her breathing quickens as her she starts to cry. Her cry turns to sobs as both of her hands cover her mouth. She falls to the floor,weak and tired from everything. Laito quickly walks to her,worried. "Amaya..."Laito calls gently. He was about to hold her ,but she pushes him away. "DON'T TOUCH ME!!" She screams. Laito flinches as he hear her scream. "Get Out. Get Out. Get Out."Amaya repeats over and over again. Laito slowly walks towards her."Amaya -"Laito was cut off as she screams,"GET OUT!"

He walks away hurt and closes the door,gently. He stands at her door,staring at it. He listens to her sobs for a couple of minutes then left. Amaya leans back against her bed. Her hands on her head,pulling on her hair. Her knees to her chest and she mumbles to herself,"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I'm sorry." She then slowly stands up and begins screaming. She walks around the room tearing everything up. She throws the vases, the glass and the jewels everywhere.After 18 minutes, she suddenly stops. Her room was destroyed. Glass was on the floor. Things were teared into pieces. She sits on her bed,staring at the walls. her screams and crying has stop. Her eyes became droopy and heavy, and she falls back into deep sleep. 

Couple of weeks pass, Amaya felt empty once again. She lays in bed and stares at the ceiling. She then ponders as she thinks if this is what her mother felt when she became broken and empty. Amaya rarely comes out of her room and when she does, it is to look for Shu. However, she fails to find him. "What if he is gone?"She thinks. After her breakdown,she didn't move once from her bedroom nor her bed. She didn't shower or fed for days. Until Reiji walked in and found the mess that was made. He comfort her and cleaned everything. He then had a maid help her get cleaned and fed. However, that still wasn't enough to fill the emptiness inside her. The guilt and pain she was in didn't go away.

Knock.Knock. Reiji enters and and says,"Dinner will be ready." She nods and he nods back. he then shuts the door behind him. She then gets up and begins to . She pulls her hair back and makes a bun and leaves two strands down. One strand one one side of her face and the other on the other side of her face. Her right side bangs slightly covering her right eye. She looks at herself in the mirror. Her blue eyes icier and duller. She looks restless and vulnerable. Her skin paler than usual. She then puts her shoes on and walks out of her room. She then takes a deep breath and begins to walk into the dining room,praying that Shu will be there.
