Twelve

  The bright glowing moon glisten in the room. The moon was the only source of light in the room. It was dark. Rain poured down harshly,hitting the window with harsh taps. It was windy. The trees sway roughly back and forth. It was so bitter and cold outside. Amaya rolls around in the bed as she hears noises. Blankets messily placed all over the bed. Amaya then puts her hand on the bed , but she feels nothing but the sheets. She slowly opens her alluring icy blue eyes as she realized Shu was gone. She shivers at the temperature in the room and begins to get out of bed. She then suddenly stops as she hears Ayato cuss loudly in pain. Her eyes widen and she quickly begins to get dress. She then hears Reiji voice echos through the hall," Protect Amaya at all cost! Find her then make sure she hides! We need to get her before he does!"He barks out to his brothers. Amaya's eyes widen in fear. She backs away from the door, memories flooding back into her mind. "Why now?! So soon...I can't. I'm not ready."Amaya thinks. 

"Amaya!" a voice yells out. Amaya head whip to the door as she hears Shu calling out her name. She runs to the door and yanks it open,hearing Shu's voice called out louder. She then looks around and sees that Shu is not anywhere to be seen. "Shu?"Amaya stutters out. No answer. Her breathing becomes heavy as she cautiously walks out. Her legs ready to give up,as she shakily walks out.It was silent...too silent. The only thing that can be heard was Amaya heavy breathing. The manor was a complete mess. Blood smeared everywhere on the walls, on the decorations, on the portraits,and on the floors. Glass broken. Claw marks on the wall. Table stands shattered on the floor. Random bodies here and there. Amaya recognize the bodies. They were men of Taro's. "So they are here." Amaya thought. She leans against the damaged wall and took a deep breath.

"I have to be strong for me and for them. I have to be strong to the brothers...and Shu. I will get revenge for my family and protect my other family. They are all I have left...even if they are broken."Amaya thinks. "Shu shouldn't feel anymore pain. He doesn't deserve this. He wouldn't be able to handle this. I wouldn't be able to handle this. No one would ever be able to take the pain away again. He can't lose me and I can't lose him. I promised him."She adds on. She clutches her fist,angrily,at the thought of anyone dying. She then quickly search weapons of any type on the bodies.She then finds a bloody silver skull dagger inside jab inside one of Taro's men. She then pulls it out,bloody slowly dripping from the dagger. She observe the dagger. It was bright and shiny with dark red blood splatters. It was sharp. It will be able to sliced through anything clean. Amaya then hides it under her dress and searches for more weapons. 

"Amaya?"a husky male voiced called out. She slowly turns around and sees Nobu standing behind her,blood all over him and his clothing. She jumps back away from the body. "Nobu? What are you doing here?"Amaya ask bewildered. Nobu wipes the blood from his face and stutters out,"I-I thought you were dead. W-We couldn't f-find your b-body."Nobu looks everywhere but at her. Amaya furrows her eyes,confused,and cautiously ask him again,"Nobu...What are you doing here?" He then finally looks at her. His vacant and hollow dark brown eyes stared at her."I-I came here to s-see the Sakamaki. They said that I should come over because they had something to tell me."Amaya then sighs at relief. "Goodness, it seems like you are okay,Nobu. Do you have any wounds anywhere?"Amaya questions as she walks to Nobu.
"I don't think so."Nobu replies. She then gives Nobu a hug. Nobu slowly hugs back. She then lets go of him and turns and tells Nobu,"Nobu we need to find everywhere. We need to help everywhere." Nobu shakes his head and replies back,"Princess we should leave. They are able to fight back. We need to leave before you get caught. We need to hide." Nobu then grabs her hand and starts to drag her. Amaya pulls back and barks,"What are you doing,Nobu?! We need to help them. They can't handle all of that by themselves. Nobu stop!" Nobu ignores her protest and continues to drag her. "NOBU!I SAID STOP!"Amaya screams. 

SLAPS. The sound echos through the hall. Nobu turns to look at Amaya. His face filled with angry as his right cheek stings. She glares back at him. "I said stop."Amaya sneered. Nobu growls and grabs Amaya by the neck and roughly pushes her against the wall. Both hands crushing her neck. Amaya tries to breathe,but Nobu squeezes harder. Memories rush through her mind and all she sees is Taro claw like dirty hands on her little neck. Tears slowly rush down her face. Nobu shoves Amaya against the wall again. "YOU STUPID BRAT. YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTEN TO ME. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH EASIER BUT NO!! THE BRAT HAS TO HAVE THE ROUGH WAY! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD. WHY ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!" Nobu barks.

Amaya hearts shatters into pieces as she figures out why her family was killed. It was all because of Nobu. He was the one who killed her family. Taro was just payed to kill the family ,but he had bigger plans than that for the Castell's family. He betrayed her father. Amaya eyes begin to blur and her ears start to closed off any sound. She tries to scream but her voice was gone.
A voice echos in the hall. Amaya tries to turn her head as she sees a figure running towards them. The voice gets louder and she hears her named being called. Suddenly, the figure is right there and slices Nobu's left arm. Nobu screams in agony and drops her on the floor. Amaya collasped on the floor . Amaya begins to gasp and cough,from the air she has lost. She tries to get up but falls back down. Amaya vision and sound slowly comes back. She turns and sees the figure and Nobu fighting. Swords clashing back and forth. "Run, Amaya ,Run." The voice barks. She then gets up and nods at the voice as she recognize that the figure was Subaru. She then begins to run as fast as she can through the manor. Her vision begins to clear and she continues to run until BANG!

Amaya falls back and groans in pain as she bumped into someone. The other person chuckles. Her eyes widen as she hears an unrecognizable voice. His voice was deep and raspy. She looks up and see a tall,slim pale male with pitch black hair and red eyes. He wore a a plain white mask with drawn black teeth. Blood splatter all over his white button up dressed shirt and pitch black pants. He wore a black tie. "Well if it isn't a surprise. I was just looking for you, Amaya."

 Amaya eyes widen but then narrows at him. Her eyes filled with anger. "Don't think that I will let you catch me that quick. I was Taro's best soldier."She sneers. The man chuckles and smirks,"Then lets dance princess." The man lunges with his sword and Amaya dodges to the left and kick his back. He flew back and hit the wall. He coughs and says,"Not bad,princess but still not good enough." He then lunges again and Amaya pulls out the skull dagger barely shielding his attack. She then pushes him back with force but he continues to dart towards her.

She then steps back and dodges again but his sword rips her dress and slice her skin on her shoulder. She hissed in pain. She then holds her shoulder with her left hand and drops the dagger. "Hahaha. You were Taro's best soldier. You are so weak. No wonder you couldn't saved your pathetic family."The man laughs.

As Amaya hears those words, something in her mind snaps and she lunges at the other vampire. The vampire,caught off guard, tries to dodge, but fails as she grabs his neck and shoves him hard against the wall. He drops his sword, in pain, as his head clashes into the corner of the portrait frame. She continues to shove him against the wall,anger and hatred in her eyes. He then falls to the ground as she throws him across the hallway.His head bleeding from the back. He tries to crawl to his sword, but Amaya stops him by stepping on his hand. He screams in pain as she puts all her weight on his hand. "Haha. I'm pathetic?! Look at you?! Screaming in so much pain. Your screams gets me so excited."Amaya beams .She then pulls him by the hair. "Ah!"He cries out. He looks into her eyes, her eyes were so empty yet they flicker with playfulness and insanity piercing icy blue eyes. Her smile was to ear to ear. Her fangs are out. His eyes widen in fear as he realizes that she is Taro's best soldier. She then pushes his head to get a good view of his neck. He then cries out,"Please don't. I'm begging you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Someone help me!"She ignores him and she then bites in to his neck. He screams out as her fangs pierced into his skin roughly. She moans in pleasure as she hasn't drank so much in such a long time. She continues to drink and drink. The male tries to stop her but he was to weak as he lose all his blood. His body then suddenly went limp. Amaya stops and throws his body. Blood dripping down from her mouth. She then walks to grab his sword ,but stops and notice there was a broken mirror . She looks at herself. Her dressed teared and dirty. Some blood on her torso. Her eyes were a dark blood red. Her smile large and insane. She caress her own face and starts to laugh and laugh louder and louder. Suddenly, all the energy she had dropped and disappeared. She falls to the ground. Everything was numb and her vision begins to blur once again. Before she blacked out, she sees a figure striding towards her. She tries to move but couldn't . It was too late...
