If any of you don't know I'm born, raised, and live in Houston. We are currently on day 3/4 (its 12 am) of a devastating hurricane that has left almost all of Houston and it's surrounding towns under water. I am fortunate to not be in the worst of it. My neighborhood is fine. My house is fine. The most damage i have is a leak in the roof, which is nothing compared to thousands of others Houstonians. I have also be lucky enough to have power throughout the whole ordeal. We have a several retention ponds in the area and just got a new drainage system put in a few months ago. We did get a significant amount of water on the streets to technical call it a flood, but the water only went just a little above the curb. Although my neighborhood is okay, the neighborhood connected and main streets around us was flooded to were water went into home and businesses. Anywho, I won't even say to donate because there has already been millions donated already, just keep those who were affected in your prayers.

Now let me explain the words on this last picture

Now let me explain the words on this last picture. Many of the people who were rescued during the first 2 days were rescued by fellow Houstonians! People took their personal boats, canoes, kayaks, high rise trucks, and etc to leave the comforts of their homes to help save those in need. I know there is jokes around about how Texas voted for Trump. Yes, that is true. BUT the city of Houston/Harris County voted for Clinton. Houston is one of the most diverse cities there is. People didn't let their differences stop them from helping those who really needed help. Although I will always have black pride ✊🏾 i will not let so much hate fill my heart to not help those who are different than me, when I'm fully capable of doing so.
