I look at his soft face. I've never truly looked at his face before. His crystal blue eyes stared into my deep green eyes. His blonde hair was gently falling out of his Chicago bulls SnapBack. He was staring into my eyes as he asked," what wrong?" I just realized I was literally staring at him for 5 minutes. I choke up and forget what I'm even doing. "Just thinking" is that really all I said. Jeez I need some practice. "My princess." He pulls my hair behind my ear and kisses my cheek. I love the way he calls me princess. He seems to have changed from his confident self, to a really shy boy. He looked down at the floor and then instantly looked into my eyes. "Would it be too much to ask if you could come over and meet my parents?" I didn't know what he meant. I mean, we just met. "Like, now?" He laughed. It kind of made me feel bad. "No I mean like before we go anywhere." I'm glad he's respecting his parents rules. But what would I wear? "Is that okay?" Oh I forgot to answer. "Ya that's totally fine." He smiled and grabbed my hand and we walked out of the building.
We walked through the hallway together. I feel so confident when I walk with him. I look over at him and he seems to be giving an irritated glare at a group of guys. I look at the guys and they're all really good looking. One of the guys in the group starts to walk towards us. He's wearing an faded American flag shirt with some black skinny jeans and a royal blue SnapBack. I have to give it to him, he looks like he walked out of a Hollister magazine. He gives me one of those bad boy smiles. Dylan sighs and stares at me with wide eyes. I ignore him because the boy is finally reached us. "Hey. I'm Cameron Dallas. I'm Dylan's friend." Wow. This Cameron really knows how to charm someone. But Dylan is much better in my eyes. "Hi I'm savannah." He smirks and puts his hand on my shoulder."So this is the new girlfriend this time, right?" What did he mean by that? Has he had many girlfriends before? "He's just trying to be an asshole. Cameron, go away." He seemed upset with him and I am too. Cameron gasps and then turns towards me. "Hey a bunch of my friends and I are having a party this weekend and you should go." I don't really have friends except for my boyfriend so this is actually a great idea. "Ya I'll go" I say with a smile. Dylan turns toward me and widens his eyes again. I ignore him and Dylan, irritated, says"Well we have to go." And we walk away.
As we exit the hallway he pulls my aside and pushes me up against a wall. "You do know who that is, right?" I don't know anything about him, let alone his 'title'. "No who is he" I say nervously. He swallows"He's lying, playing bad boy. You don't want to get mixed up with him. He'll play you just like every other girl he's met. They hope he'll change but he never will. Don't trust him." I was disappointed that he was like that. I was hoping he was one of the sweet guys but I guess not. "Oh, well I won't talk to him." Of course I won't. But I'm still going to that party. I need to meet some new people. "You aren't going to that stupid party are you?" He seemed really worried I would. "Of course not." I lie. But it's better than letting him down with the truth, right? "Good. That party is full of lame people doing lame stuff." He repositioned his hat then continued the conversation by saying"So would you mind coming over this Sunday to meet my parents? This Saturday I'm helping my grandparents move next door to us." That's actually perfect. I can go to the party and then the next day I can meet his parents. "Sounds like a date" I hug him goodbye and we part our ways.
