Sweet Creature.
As a writer, I can confidently say that any other writer has their own muse. I have mine and if you are a writer too, I bet you have yours. More often than not, we keep these muses to ourselves; we don't tell anyone who's the piece is about. That's what makes the piece so special, innit? We share that knowledge only with the muse and we watch the world wonder whom it is about. We watch them interpret the piece however they want and put anyone they please as the muse. And we're okay with that because it is enough that we and the muse know.
But what if the muse doesn't know? We can watch them wonder too, only to think in our heads "If only you knew..."
It doesn't matter if the whole world knows or only the muse knows or only we know, it is still beautiful.
And I, as the none writer as the song above (a.k.a the 'world', in this case) can't feel anymore blessed that the muse of the song is kept secret by Harry. Or maybe the muse knows. Maybe the muse doesn't. I don't know. Because can you imagine that feeling as he sings the song on stage and looks around the crowd, knowing that those thousands of faces have their own Sweet Creature in their mind and he got his.
Every single one of us has our own way of interpreting a song (it's such a beautiful song, too). We have our own Sweet Creature with different stories and different feelings towards the song. Different understanding of the phrase 'sweet creature' alone and just different everything. And Harry wants that. He wants us to share that diversity while being at the same place, listening to the same song. And as for him, he has his own Sweet Creature in mind.
Just imagine that in your head. Imagine the satisfaction he has, watching the world loving the people they love and him loving the person he loves, with the whole crowd singing the same lyrics only to imagine different faces in their heads, but not having to worry because he knows and the person knows and that's all that matters. It's quite hauntingly beautiful, isn't it?
We have our own Homes, don't we?
We have our loved ones, don't we?
Maybe we share them, maybe.
Well, this song tells the story.
