One Day to Train

I walked out of the classroom with the human, and we started to walk down the hallway.

"So what's your name?" I asked her.

"You don't need to know." She responded.

"If your training me, then I think I should at least know your name." I said.

"We don't have the time for such formalities." She said as we exited the school. "Let's go, follow me." She said.

We flew through the air for about an hour. There was nothing but red rocks for miles. The part of the rock we were flying over was smooth looking, almost like there was glass over it. The rocks around the path we were flying over were jagged and pointy, almost like a bed of needles but scattered everywhere.

Then a thought hit me. Maybe she was bringing me all the way out here to kill me. If that were the case, then I would definantly be dead. But if she really wanted to kill me, then she would have done it a half hour ago. Maybe it's just a thought. I was starting to get bored from flying for so long.

"Hey are we there yet?" I asked the human female.

She turned to face me still flying in the same direction. "Yea, see that bit of green ahead? That's where we're going." She said.

I looked a little harder infront of us, and there was a giant green square right in the middle of no where.

We landed there and the green stuff was actually grass.

I laid down in it and looked up at the sky.

"Pyrite, haven't you ever wondered about this strange planet you came to live on?" The human asked.

"Not really. Every planet is different." I responded. I thought back to when I saw this planet from the depths of space. There was nothing but red as far as I could see. There wasn't any water or ice that I could see either.

"Well let's get to it pyrite, we only have about six hours left to train. The tournament starts at one."

I got up off the grass. "Right, I forgot this planet only has a twelve hour rotation." I said.

"First things first, charge up your ki as high as it'll go." She said.

I spread my legs apart and began to charge my ki, but then it just stopped rising. It were as if I hit a brick wall at high speed.

"I guess that'll have to do. Now let's spar a little. Show me what your working with." The human said.

I used my speed to get the first strike, landing a punch on her face.

She looked at me with a face of disappointment. "My turn..." She said trailing off. I prepared myself for the beating I was about to receive.

She threw punch after punch, kick after kick, but somehow I was able to dodge them all.
I tried to retaliate, but she vanished behind me and grabbed my tail. "If you don't work harder I'll kill you!" She yelled throwing me into the ground.

I looked up from the dust cloud and I saw her holding a yellow disc-like ki blast move above her head. "Destructo disc!" She yelled throwing it at me.

Time around me seemed to stop as I copied her movements trying to form a replica of the move she used. A purple disc appeared in my hand. 'Better than nothing.' I thought to myself. "Take this!" I yelled throwing it toward her destructo disc.

They collided in the air making a colorful explosion.

I used the smoke to vanish behind her and grab her arm. "Try this on for size!" I yelled throwing her into the air. I formed another disc, exhausting what little ki I had left. I threw it at her, and it sliced right through her body. "And come back." I yelled making a hand movement toward her.

The purple disc turned around and slashed through her a second time before disappearing.
She fell through the sky landing in the grass making a small impact creator.

I thought that I had won the battle. I slowly floated of to her body and looked for signs of life.

Suddenly her eyes shot open. "Kaioken!" She yelled. Her body was instantly covered in red ki as she moved infront of me.

I didn't have time to react as she slammed me into the ground. I could feel that some of my ribs were broken, as well as my left arm.

"NOW DIE!" She yelled throwing another destructo disc.

I forced my body to vanish behind her and grabbed her throat with my tail. I pointed my finger at her and a purple beam shot from it, going through her stomach. There was a hole where I shot her. I threw her body to the ground, thinking that she was dead.

Her body was motionless, and her Kaioken had worn off.

I noticed the my arm was bleeding purple blood, and I slowly descended to the ground next to my teacher.

She turned her head toward me. "You did it, you freak." She said smiling. "My name is Lilly by the way."

I smiled plopping down in the dirt next to her.

She put a weird green pill in my hand. "Eat it, it's medicine. We'll rest here and head out for the tournament at twelve." She said.

I swallowed the pill, and I could feel my wounds healing. I didn't know that I was so strong. Maybe I did have a chance at winning the tournament. I smiled to myself as I started to drift off to sleep. "I just might win..." I thought to myself. No. I will win.
