Flute the Giant vs. Golden Pyrite

I broke free of flute's hold and looked at my body. My arms, hands, legs and feet were glowing purple and the rest of me was glowing gold. I felt more powerful than I had ever been before in my entire life.

"So you can go gold now." Flute said. "It doesn't matter, I'm still going to beat you into the ground. He shot a ki blast from his mouth at me.

It seemed like time slowed down as I moved out of the way. Was I faster now as well? I shot a beam at Flute striking him through the shoulder.

He flinched slightly and grabbed his shoulder.
It seemed that he couldn't regenerate as quickly in his giant form compared to his regular form.

He swung at me but I flew under his arm and blasted his other shoulder with another beam.

"Hold still you little fly!" Flute yelled. He went to grab me again.

This time I stabbed his palm with the spike on my forearm. Blood dibbled out from his wound as he retracted his hand.

"Mouth Cannon!" He yelled shouted firing another blast from his mouth.

I easily dodged it.

"Try this!" He yelled firing multiple blasts from his hands.

I flew all around them dodging them majestically. I really was faster in this new form. I flew up out of the flurry of blasts and charged a death ball, bigger than usual. "Giant Death Ball!" I shouted throwing it right at Flute's chest.

He caught it in his hands like it was a basketball sliding back on his feet. Before he could throw it back I made it disappear.

I shot him with another beam, though his leg this time.

"Mouth Beam!" He said firing a ki wave from his mouth. "Kamehameha!" I yelled countering it. The resulting clash blew us away. After the smoke cleared I could see Flute.

He was breathing heavily like he was running out of stamina.

'I need something bigger than a Death ball." I thought to myself. I raised my hand and formed an orange ball of ki growing it until it was the same size as Flute. A supernova! "Take this!" I yelled flinging it at him.

He held his arms out and stoped it making an earthquake like vibration though the ground.

The supernova started to consume him, moving over his hands and up towards his arms. Eventually he was inside of it, and it imploded.

Flute's body fell to ground in regular form smoking and slightly burned. I floated over to him.

"Give up before this goes any further." I demanded.

"Never." He said standing back up.

I shot a beam straight though his stomach, making him bend over. I grabbed his neck with my tail, holding  him just slightly above the ground. "I said give up!" I said sternly.

Before I knew it his arm wrapped around my leg.

"Death Wave!" I yelled chopping it off. I formed a Death Spear in my hand and stabbed Flute through his left leg.

He bent down on his right knee letting the left one flop on the ground. "Kamehameha!" I yelled blasting Flute's left arm off again.

Suddenly he yelled again and started to go back into giant form. "Let's see how you deal with this!" He yelled. "Mouth cannon barrage!" It was like a storm of giant ki blasts.

I tried to dodge them all but one of them
scraped my left arm pulling it out of socket. I looked around for Flute but he was gone. Then I felt something explode on my back. I fell to the ground with my shoulder writhing in pain. I looked around but I still didn't see Flute. I laid there on the ground listening for anything that would give him away. I closed my eyes. I could sense him moving closer to me, but I couldn't tell where.

It felt like he was everywhere at once.

I decided to try something drastic. I powered down my golden form. I could sense him coming even closer than before. I stood up and suddenly his arms started to wrap around me.

"Super Ki Explosion!" I yelled letting my ki explode around me, this time in a giant radius.

"Aaaaaarrrgg!" Flute yelled I I burned his body.
I kept prolonging the blast until I felt his ki being focused into a single point. I stopped and turned towards him.

"Special Beam Cannon!" He yelled, at the same time he fired he went back into his giant form.

I narrowly dodged and powered up my golden form again. I got into a pose for a giant spirit ball. "Everyone lend me your strength!" I yelled collecting energy from the planet and every willing thing on it.

"You think you can defeat me with that puny thing!" Flute laughed. "Kid no one here likes you enough to give you their energy, don't waist your time!" He said roughly.

I looked around at the crowd, they were all looking somewhat uninterested.

"See they don't even want to watch this battle. They already know who's won, just give up kid." Flute continued discouraging me.

I didn't give up. I scoured the crowd looking for Berserker and Amy. Then someone stood up. It was Berserker. I looked at him and smiled.

"I'll share my power with you!" He yelled out over the crowd.

"Me too!" Amy yelled.

Their power alone started to fill the spirit ball until it was ready.

"I may not have many friends." I started to talk. "But the ones I do have know that deep down, you'll loose. And that's why they share their energy with me." I yelled at him launching the giant spirit ball. "THIS IS THE POWER OF OUR FRIENDSHIP!" I yelled as loud as I could.

Flute suddenly shrunk down, like he couldn't hold his giant form any longer. He was pummeled by the full force of my Friendship Spirit Ball. After the smoke cleared from the move, Flute laid there motionless, and unconscious.

The announcer checked for his pulse. "He's alive." He whispered through the mic. "And that makes Pyrite the winner! Congratulations Pyrite, you have graduated from A.M.A.K.D."

I floated down next to Flute as my two friends cheered for me. I was proud that I had beaten my teacher.

Berserker's match was next and I would stay to watch the whole thing with Amy.

On my way out of the ring Berserker ran to me and hugged me.

It was as if a bright light had shone around us as he spun us around and hugged me even tighter. I hugged him back and closed my eyes.

When I opened them again everyone was staring at us...
