Don't be afraid.

As we drove up to the venue, I started to feel nervous. I had got a lot of hateful comments about me from a lot of supporters because of dating Grayson and I know this would not make it any better. We had been dating for around 6 months but for 3 of them we kept it a secret. He even kept it from Ethan, mainly because of my best friend and his previous relationships with her and how he would just get angry that Gray was with me. It was a rocky start, people loved to criticise me and pick out little things about me to call flaws and it really got to me. I put my account on private until Grayson made a video about it with me and the negativity lowered after that. I know coming to the award show will just make people put me under the magnifying glass, primarily because of all the high quality photos so I start shaking my leg. Grayson knows that's a sign of fear from me and tenderly grabs my chin and makes me face him. "What's wrong baby?" he said with a tone of concern. "I'm scared to go in front of the cameras Gray. I don't want people to flaw me." I lower my head just wanting to crawl into a ball. "Hey, don't think like that" he says tenderly. "You'll be fine, you're gorgeous. You are so beautiful in front of a camera and I know you will steal the spotlight." I raise my head to look at him and a smile spreads across my lips. "I love you." he instantly smiles and kisses me. "I love you too."

Grayson opened the door and put out his hand and said "Trust me." I hesitate and take his hand, and I'm instantly overwhelmed by the amount of paparazzi behind barriers. This was the first time me and Gray went to a big event together so I guess it made sense. All I could hear was hundreds of people shouting Helena, telling me to look at their camera. Grayson took his hand and wrapped it around my hip as he could tell I looked slightly shocked and confused. I eventually composed myself and kept in my head pose Helena, you look good and you know it. I slipped out of Gray's grip and decided to take my own single photos without him. Before walking off I whispered in his ear "Take some photos with just Ethan, I'll pose alone." I smirked and he gave me a look like Are you sure? and I replied Watch me. I had seen lots of poses on a red carpet so I decided to take them into account and go with it. I could feel Grayson's eyes on me, even though I told him to focus on taking pictures with Ethan and I glanced over at him and he mouthed Wow. I grinned and gave a twirl and posed over my shoulder which made the cameras flash like crazy. I could get used to this.

We eventually managed to get off the carpet and I went to pick up a refreshment. I told Grayson to go and talk to some fans because a lot of them were asking for pictures so I thought it would be good to get him a drink while he does that. As I reached the bar, Ethan approached me. This was going to be fun. The last time we were alone, he winded me up so much that I threw my slipper at him to get out of the room. He eventually just laughed and left. "What do you want Ethan?" I said flatly. "A drink? It's a refreshment bar, why else would I be here?". I rolled my eyes and reached out for two waters and he did straight after. "I just wanted to say that you look really good today.  No wonder Grayson wanted to bang you earlier." He smirked. I scoffed. Amazing, another one of his statements that makes me want to actually beat his ass. Does he even have a line where it goes from okay to just straight up wrong? "Thanks, I guess." As I was about to walk back over to Gray he quickly asks "How is Claudia?" I turn around and put on a questionable face. Oh hell no. "You care about how she is now? After you fucked her over? Well. She's fine. Thanks for asking." "Can you tell her I'm sorry...? I never really got to tell her." He seemed sincere. This felt weird. "Fine. Let's go, you should take some photos with some fans with Gray." We walk towards Gray and I smile. I can't believe that man is mine.
