"Oh, just spit it out, Naruto! Why are you so nervous?"
"D-Don't rush me!"
"Naru! Are you asleep?"
"N-No!"
"Hm.."
"Why did you have to braid my hair again?" Naruto asked in a slightly whiny tone, holding on to his headband tightly.
"Because it's so pretty!" She responded with a small giggle, grabbing a flower from her left to slide into his silky yellow hair.
"Your hair is pretty." He shot back suddenly, his lips forming a goofy grin."You're pretty."
A light blush spread to her cheeks."Not really, but thank you.."
"Hey, Ayame! Are we getting Naruto back or not?" Sasuke called over to them in a bored tone, his eyes half-lidded from a lack of sleep.
"Is Sakura your girlfriend?" She called back with a teasing smile.
"..."
Ayame sniffed."That's what I thought."
"The two of you are gross." The Uchiha muttered in annoyance.
"Shut up!" The couple shouted in unison, sticking their tongues out at the boy.
"The couples who are annoying together stay-"
"That's enough!" Sakura interfered, putting a hand on her hip sassily."Ayame, we need Naruto back."
"You don't have to be so rude about it." The ombré-haired girl mumbled, dropping her hands to her sides.
"Stop being so mean to Ayame, Sakura-chan! I won't allow it!" Naruto said defensively, wrapping his arms around his girlfriend.
"She's messing with our training time to be with you!" The pinkette exclaimed.
"It's not like with any more training you'd get better. You're useless." Sasuke snapped, scoffing under his breath.
"Sasuke.."
"You have no right to be so mean. She's my girlfriend, so you should at least try to be nice!"
"Naruto-"
"-So shut your mouth if all you're going to do is bash her!" The knucklehead finished, his hold on the girl tightening.
"Naruto, it's fine!"
"Huh?"
"Don't you get it? All that matters is that I know you love me."
