I woke up. Worst nightmare ever. I thought to myself. I looked around my dorm room. I saw Caroline crying with her hands cupped to her face. She never did this, something was wrong. "What happened?" I asked her in a calm voice and sat down on her bed. She didn't answer.
I gave her a hug and started patting her back. "What's wrong?" I asked again. she stopped crying and put her hands on her lap. "He's back." She said sniffling in a horrified voice. "Who's back?" I asked. "My brother, I saw him." She said. "But, but your brother has been dead for over five years." I said. " I know but I-I saw him!" She stuttered. "It was probably just another nightmare, I had one myself." I said. She nodded her head. "Your probably right." She said.
"Where we're you?" I asked. She didn't answer. "Okay? We will talk about this in the morning? Ok?" She nodded her head and I nodded mine. I stood up and crawled into my bed. I fell asleep.
BEEP BEEP BEEP! My alarm clock went off. It was annoying as hell. So I stood up and hit the off button. I sat on my bed Caroline was up too. She stared at me with wide eyes.
"What?" I asked. "I was in the woods last night." She said. "WHAT! Why in hell were you out there!" I asked. "I was chased." She said. "BY WHO! YOU KNOW YOU COULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT CAROLINE!" I yelled. Why the hell would she do this! This was not like Caroline. "Okay let's start over." I said trying to calm myself down.
"So, why we're you in the woods?" I asked. "I was chased." She said. "By who?" I asked again. "I don't know." She said. "Why were you in the woods in the first place." I asked. "Me and a group of friends wanted to be badass and go out there." She said. "And then you were chased?" I asked. "Yep." Caroline said. "Okay!" I said kind of shocked.
"Who did you say was out there with you?" I asked, again. "Lindsey, Nick, Daren, Michelle, Safire, Ashlee, Andy, Luke, David, and me." She said.
"Wait who's David?" I asked. "Oh he's new here, it was his idea to go out there." She said. "When did he start going to Black cat boarding school?" I asked. "Oh, just a few days ago." Caroline said. "Oh, well that's weird." I said. "Maybe he might be in one of my classes, I was out sick Tuesday so I probably didn't get to meet him." I said. "And when I meet him, I'll beat his dirty ass!" I said. Caroline giggled."I wasn't trying to be funny." I told her. She giggled again.
There's one thing about Caroline she doesn't always take you so seriously sometimes.
I stood up and walked over to my closet and picked out some clothes: a grey lace shirt and a pair of jeans, I walked to the chest in front of my bed and pulled out a bra and a pair of underwear. I stripped my clothes off and put the clothes that I had picked out on.
Caroline did the same thing she picked out: a red blouse a white tank-top a lavender ruffle skirt and a lavender headband. I tied my hair in a pony tail grabbed my books and walked out the door.
