Prologue
"Honey," she asks her husband. "Do you think she'll ever wake up?" She says, a small tear rolling down her face. "I don't know..." Says the husband. "If she does, what if she doesn't remember us?" She asks, her voice cracking. (No response) The husband and wife looked down at their daughter laying down in the hospital bed.
Their daughter had gotten into a car crash and had been in a coma for five months. She is not expected to live but if she does she won't remember anything.
"I'm going home," said the mother. "I can't stand to see her like this..." She said shaking her head. She walked out the door with a slam, her husband could hear her balling down the hall way.
The father stroked his beautiful daughters face. Ice cold. He thought to himself. The walked too one of the chairs in the corner of the room. He looked at his daughter then looked down at the floor. "WHY MY DAUGHTER! WHY MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER!" He said kicking the chair sending it across the room. He fell to his knees.
The door opened and a nurse walked in. She walked up to the man and put her hands on his shoulders as he cried. "Sir are you okay? Sir? SIR?"
