"What are the odds out of 10 that you go out with me or at least be friends with benefits." He said smirking and moving closer to me.

"Um...Daniel. When I said I would do anything I didn't mean this." I said backing away.

"But you promised you would do anything. You can't break a promise." He said.

"Fine but we have to say the same number anyway and I doubt that would happen." I said.

"Okay then let's do it." He said smirking. "1,2,3..."

"7!" We both said at the same time.

My eyes widened when I heard him say the same number at me. Oh God. What am I gonna do? I have to do it. I never break promises.

"Alright then I guess you're mine." He said winking.

"Only for today. After today we aren't a thing." I said. "And can we not tell the guys about this?"

"Why not baby girl." He said scooting closer to me.

"Reasons." I said staying still.

He came closer to me and wrapped his arm around my waist. I moved away a little but he moved closer. I started getting lost in my thoughts. What if Jonah sees me and Daniel? I don't want him to know about this. I really like him and I just told him this today. I got snapped out of my thoughts by the door opening. Just what I didn't want. I looked up to see Jonah. We made eye contact and I could see the sadness in his eyes. He turned around and closed the door to leave. Oh no. I got up and chased after him.

"Jonah!" I said trying to get his attention.

He kept walking and I eventually ended up out of their house. I was across the street looking around when I saw a guy sitting on the swings at a park. I crossed the street and saw that it was Jonah. I walked and sat on the swing next to him. He was looking down at the ground. He never once looked up at me. I lifted his head to look at me. I could see so much pain in his eyes. After about a few seconds of just staring at each other I kissed him. He kissed back passionately. I ran my hands through his hair and he wrapped his arms around me waist. I pulled back and looked him in the eyes.

"Jonah. I have to tell you something. Listen. When Daniel picked me up to throw me in the pool I told him I would do anything he wanted for the rest of the day if he put me down. Once I said that he brought me up to his room and told me to play what are the odds with him. He asked me what the odds were out of 10 that I would be either his girlfriend or we would just be friends with benefits. We both said the number 7 so he just started wrapping his arms around my waist. I'm sorry. Just know that I do like you a lot and I won't stop." I said smiling.

"Princess, you didn't have to say sorry to me. We aren't even dating." He said grabbing my hands.

I looked at him and smiled

"For the rest of today just be with Daniel but then tomorrow you can be mine." He said and winked at me.

I blushed and looked down. I didn't wanna be with Daniel though.

"What if I make him jealous by hanging out with you instead of him? Like cuddling together on the couch or something."

"Or on my bed." Jonah said smirking.

I looked up at him and playfully hit his arm and rolled my eyes.

"I wasn't kidding." He said trying to stay serious.

"Oh well then in that case let's do it." I said smirking.

His eyes widened and he smiled. I grabbed his arm and started walking back toward the house. As we got closer I saw someone that I recognized. I let go of Jonah and ran to hide behind a house. Jonah turned around to look for me but someone walked up to him.

"Hey Jonah." She said.

"Oh hey! How's it going?" He said now knowing why I ran away.

It was my 'mom'.

"It's all going okay I guess. I still haven't heard anything about Chloe. What are you doing out here by yourself anyway?" She asked.

"Well today is one of those days where I get super deep into my thoughts. I just really miss Chloe. I love her. Just to know that she's gone and that we might never see her again. It just hurts me." He said looking down at the ground pretending to be sad.

"Wow Jonah. I didn't know you felt that way about her. It would've been great if you guys were together." She said.

"Yeah. I wish. I don't think she could ever really like me back." He said.

What did he mean by that? Obviously I really like him. Maybe he's just saying that to lie to my 'mom'.

"Okay well it was nice talking to you Jonah but I have to go. Bye." She said and walked away.

I came out from behind the house and walked next to Jonah. He grabbed my hand and we walked back to the house hand in hand. I hope our plan will work.

"Jonah do you think it will work?" I said.

"I hope so. It might not because Daniel gets pissed when he doesn't get what he wants. I don't want him to hurt you." Jonah said and cupped my cheeks.

"Don't worry. If he really likes me he won't hurt me." I said and walked in the house.
