<Jonah>

I carried Chloe off her bed and drove her to Starbucks. I can't believe Jack did that to her. How could he just say that to her in front of her face. He's such a dick. I'm gonna do all I can to make chloe feel better. I love her and I want to see her happy. I hate seeing her crying. It hurts me.

"Jonah, do you want anything?" Chloe asked.

"Nah I'm good. But...you're not paying. I am." I said cutting in front of her so that I can pay.

"Jonphhhh. Please, let me pay. You've already done so much. And I hate when people pay for me. It makes me feel really bad." She said looking down.

"Sorry Chloe, but while you were talking, I already paid." I said winking.

"Damnit Jonah!" Chloe said laughing.

We both laughed and waited at a table for our drinks.

<Chloe>

While we were waiting for our drinks at a table, I started thinking about what Jonah told me after I fell. Did he really mean it? Or was he just trying to make me feel better? Should I even ask?

"Chloe and Jonah." The lady said.

We both got up and grabbed our drinks. We said our thank you and we left. We both got into Jonah's car and drove back to Logan's.

"Jonah?" I asked a little bit nervous.

"Yeah?" He said keeping his eyes on the rode.

"I was just wondering-nevermind." I said and looked down.

"Chloe. What were you gonna say? Just tell me."

"Just I wanted to know why you said what you said after Jack called me a hoe."

"What do you mean why?"

"Why did you say it? Did you just say it to make me feel better or just to say it?"

"Chloe I said it because I meant it. I've told you that I've loved you ever since a few weeks after you moved here. And I still do. I still love you." Jonah said not looking at me once and looking at the rode.

I just stayed looking down and blushing. I didn't answer because I didn't know what to say. I love Jonah as a best friend, but at the same time, I love him enough to be his girlfriend. I don't know how I feel. Ugh. Im so confused. I hate this.
