She didn't care.

Avery was fed up with the same life, day in, day out.

It had almost no meaning. Anything would be better she thought.

Avery sent Siyel back to her section of the field and asked her to work.

Siyel willingly skipped happily back to the field.

Avery sighed.

She did it. She was free.

She could continue to venture through the forest without having to worry about getting caught. She could wander and explore the forest without being told what to do and what not to do.

She had freedom, and that was enough for her.

A big smile crept onto Avery's face as she walked deeper into the woods.

She could do anything she wanted without worrying about who was watching or who was judging.

She skipped happily through a little clearing, which almost looked like a trail.

She stopped when she heard the sounds of far off shomicke birds calling.

Avery turned her head in every which direction to try and locate the birds, but the sounds came from all around, it was nearly impossible to pick out a single call.

She sighed with contentment and admired the beauty around her.

This was the first time she'd ever ventured that deep into the forest and the sight of it just gave her unexplainable thrills.

Suddenly, a purple flash caught her gaze, it was a bloom of glittering Ronpus lilies.

Avery was alone this time, with no one else to worry about but herself. She remembered the intriguing aroma that captured her senses the other day, but she just wasn't sure if it was right.

"Were they really dangerous?" She asked herself in her mind.

All this time, her mother had warned her of the lilies, but she'd also been warned about the forest and nothing bad had happened yet, right? Was her mother simply lying to her just to keep her in the fields to work? Was her mother intentionally keeping all this beauty from her on purpose?

These thoughts brought a little hurt inside Avery's mind. She wished she knew the answers to these questions, but it didn't matter. She didn't know, and she wasn't going to know.

Avery walked over to the bloom of glittering lilies and knelt down beside them, like she had the other day.

This time, she didn't have to worry about who was watching or how long she enjoyed the smell.

She was free to smell them all she'd like.

Avery took in a deep breath and the aroma instantly overwhelmed her senses.

It gave her this satisfying chill that ran through her body, it was almost unexplainable.

She took several more breaths before she decided she'd had enough for the moment.

Once she'd finished, she tried to get up, but she couldn't.

She found herself too far drawn in by the aroma that she couldn't get away from it.

The lilies had captured her senses and now, they capture her entirely.

She couldn't get up, she couldn't move.

They flowers had complete control of her now.

There was no escape...
