"hey," jack starts, as he pauses the game he's playing against corbyn. "we should have a party. just the six of us. for y/n. i know we already had one with everyone else, but it would be nice with just us."

"yeah! we can order some food, swim in the pool, blast some music, it'll be great!" jonah agrees.

you turn to daniel and smile.

"sure, why not?" you agree.

the boys yell excitedly, and jump up.

corbyn unlocks his phone, and holds it up to his ear.

"hi, i'd like three large cheese pizzas," he says.

"yo, zach, y/n, jonah, come with me to target. we are going to get some hella dope things," jack says, as he grabs his car keys.

"yes, let's gooo!" zach yells, jumping up.

the four of you walk out to the car and drive to target.

"okay, what are we getting exactly?" you ask, as jonah grabs a cart.

"well, it wouldn't be a pool party without pool floaties, so of course we've got to get some dope ones. and we need some snacks and ice cream as well," jack explains.

"y/n, come pick out floaties with me!" zach exclaims, taking my hand. "jonah and jack can gets snacks and ice cream."

zach and you make your way over to the floaties and look at them all.

the four of you walk back into the why don't we house, each carrying at least one target bag.

"we're back!" you yell, setting your bags down on the counter.

daniel and corbyn come up to the fpur of you, and start rummaging through your bags.

"yo! this is dope!" daniel exclaims, pulling out the box that contains the pretzel floatie.

"yo, look at this one!" corbyn yells, pulling out the unicorn one.

"i picked that one out," you say, smiling. "unicorns are dope."

daniel and corbyn start pulling out the others.

you and zach got six so each of you could have one.

there's a pretzel, unicorn, donut, pizza, a poop emoji, and a watermelon one specifically for daniel.

"dani, look at the floatie we got for you," you say, taking the box that has the watermelon floater in it.

"you got me a watermelon!" he yells excitedly, taking it from me. "i love you," he says, kissing my cheek.

"we also got a bunch of snacks and ice cream," zach says, putting the ice cream in the freezer.

"let's get this party started!" daniel yells, making me laugh.
