"What are you doing here?" Laila asked quietly and annoyed, she looked up at the sky trying to avoid eye contact.

I looked around to trying to think of something to say, but all I could think of was "I had nowhere else to go?" I sounded so unsure which made her laugh and hold the door open offering me to come in, and so I did.

Her house was huge kind of like every movie you'd see when the rich person that has everything that you don't have, except this was real and huge.

I turned to her, and she gestured to the tv and her bowl of popcorn "I was just about to watch a movie," I spun to the tv, and of course it was huge too "want to join?" She smiled, and we sat on her couch which was surprisingly kind of uncomfortable.

We watched so many movies I lost track of time. It was one in the morning, and I had no PJs, so I looked helplessly at the householder, and she understood.

We went up to her room, which of course was luxurious, and she threw a few items of clothes at me. I tried them on, and it all fit me well.

I spent the night, and I told her about everything, and she listened. I felt safe with her like we could have been friends for a very long time.

Her phone rang suddenly breaking us from our conversation, and she had told me that it was probably her parents telling her that they were going to be later than they thought coming home from their dinner, which means they probably stopped at a hotel to stay the night because traffic is terrible.

She hung up and looked at me, she sighed, sounding exhausted. That's when her phone rang again; it turned out to be some friends wanting to come over, she looked at me and grinned "let's do it! There'll be my friends and maybe some guys so you might want to put a shirt on."

I looked down at my serious cleavage and laughed, she looked surprised "you look way hotter in that than I do, you should keep it."

I looked at her with surprise "Thanks!" I swung off her bed and put on my shirt which was drab compared to her house, and she noticed

"oh, no honey I'll let you wear something else," she scrambled around her closet a bit and pulled a jumpsuit out "here try this." I pulled it on, and I looked hot?

I know she said it before, but how dare I mean it, I might start getting too cocky.

She walked up behind me and played with my hair "let's do something with your hair too, and maybe make up? Oh, my gosh a makeover!" I looked her with my eyebrows furrowed, I was baffled, and so out of my comfort zone, she sat me down and worked.

She curled my hair and winged my eyes.

After an hour passed, she stepped back and looked at me "a masterpiece!"

I got up to look in the mirror; I was speechless. Laila stood behind me looking proud.

The doorbell rang, and her face perked up more "ooh! They're here!"

We walked down the stairs, and some girls came in, I didn't know they're names, but they looked at me then whispered to Laila. "Come on you guys don't you know Kenzey?!" They looked at each other but before they could say anything the guys walked in with some cases of beer and some wine spritzers they set them down in the kitchen.

Jason, Mike, and Andy, all players in our school football.

But last but not least Adrian walked in carrying his Letterman jacket over his shoulder, he spotted me immediately and looked surprised.

I smiled briefly, but then Laila pulled me aside and gave me a wine spritzer, I've drunk alcohol before, and I knew what I liked, and wine spritzers weren't it, so I set it down and got a beer. I took a sip of my beer and went mingling.

Jason was by himself with a pang of hunger in his eyes looking at the group of girls talking about who knows what.

I went and said "Hi." The football player looked at me with furrowed eyebrows "beer? I'd depicted you as a spritzer type." I rolled my eyes,

"Well I prefer whiskey, but we don't have that, so Corona is the next big thing."

"You know some girls aren't strong enough for beer; they don't have a high enough tolerance." He had his hands up like he was faked scared.

"Well, I'm not."

"Then let's get you more drunk, huh?" He laughed a bit grinning. I could tell he was a bit drunk, and he said most girls don't have a high enough tolerance.

"Hey! Then maybe we can go a bit more private," he wiggles his eyebrows and chuckled.

"Eww, gross you perv!" He then proceeded to try and get close to me all night.

After multiple beers, the guys and I played beer pong while the girls watched.

At around 3:00 o'clock in the morning we were hammered,

Laila yelled out "its time for spin the bottle!" Then Jason put his arm around my waist and said: "how about seven minutes in heaven?" I could see that Adrian was getting jealous out of the corner of my eye, so I ducked under his arm and walked over to Adrian, he smirked slightly while everyone sat in a circle.

"Alright," Laila said in a slurred tone "who wants to go first?"

There was a small silence; everyone looked around. I mistakenly made too much eye contact.

"How about Kenzey!" One of the girls said, and everyone played along whereas Adrian was looking at me with his hand on his neck seeming nervous.

"Wait, no, how about Laila," no one backed down. "She started it?" I eventually gave up and spun the bottle...
