"Amber?"

"Um hi..." I say shyly.

"What are you doing here?"

"She dragged me to this club then dragged me to the front of the line."

"I haven't seen you since-"

"Since we broke up."

"God it's been so long."

"Yeah."

"Do you mind if we catch up? My shift is over in five minutes."

"That'd be nice."

"You girls can go in."

"Lacey you can go. I'm just gonna go get some mcdonalds."

"Don't want to make any mistakes tonight?" Lacey whispers in my ear and I nod. "You still like him don't you?" I nod again. She smiles and walks into the club.

"Meet me at mcdonalds when you're done."

"Okay." I walk away swinging my hips to mcdonalds. I'm all dressed up for a club and I ended up here. I laugh to myself and order some fries and a shake. I sit at one of their tables and see Lucio walk in. He looks around and goes to the bathroom not noticing me. When he gets out his hair is fixed and looks relaxed. He looks around again and sees me. "Hey." He takes a seat in front of me.

"Hey."

"So how have you been?"

"I've been okay I guess."

"So what are you doing here?"

"Brothers wedding."

"Oh."

"Yeah." God I hate awkward silences.

"So have you been seeing anyone?"

"It's been six years. Yes I have dated a few people." (She was fifteen when they dated)

"Are you currently?"

"Just got out of one a few weeks ago."

"What did the guy do?"

"Well we dated for four years and then he cheats on me." I start to tear up at the memory.

"Are you okay?"

"Nope."

"I'm so sorry Amber."

"Its why Lacey took me to the club, to make sure I stop thinking about him."

"What's his name?"

"Luke."

"I'm sorry."

"What's her name?"

"What do you mean?" I tap his wedding ring.

"Oh. Her name is Jessica."

"How long have you two been together?" I fake smile.

"Two years."

"What's she like?"

"She's the complete opposite of you." He chuckles.

"It's getting pretty late. I should head home." I look at the time and it's two am.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, besides Jessica is probably wondering where you are right now."

"Don't think so."

"Why?"

"It's nothing."

"Okay." I head for the door but he stops me.

"Wait, let's swap numbers so we can hangout sometime."

"Okay." he puts his number in my phone and smiles.

"Text me when you can." He says making me blush.
