Was it already the seventh week of the semester?

To be honest, I've been chugging work from such a consistent, ever-so-slightly-bulging fire hose for so long that this fact surprised me. It was almost like I hadn't noticed the time went by, which wasn't entirely true: I guessed what I meant to say was that I've never really been able to take a break yet this semester. A true break. I just felt like it was yesterday that I was preparing for the Moon contest and the Midterm week was already at the corner. Time must have wings and my one and only big problem was that I was not even close to be ready for this midterm exam. How the hell did I spend my time? I did not take any vacations and my make out session with P'Pha was only a few hour in the evening.

In middle school, I was an average student and enjoyed the Biology class very much. That's why I decided to read Biology in my university. Actually, most of the past two weeks have been an ongoing struggle with the magical concept of time management. For me to put in the maximum amount of work into all of my classes (which includes going to all the lectures, reading the textbooks, taking notes, etc...) and had time for anything else seemed near impossible right now.

We had an object and you moved it. The length of the path we moved it along was called the distance traveled. The difference between the initial position of the object and its final position was called the displacement. One of the cool things about reality was that distance traveled and displacement were not always equivalent amounts. Sure, if we slide a book across a table, its displacement was equal to the distance it traveled. But what if you threw a ball up into the air and caught it at the same place you released it? The ball traveled twice the length of its maximum height (minus its initial height, the distance from the ground to our hand when we released it), but its displacement was zero. Or, if we went back to the book example, what if I were to pick up that book and throw it against a wall, kick it into the ceiling, and fling it across the room several times before gently returning it to its original position on the table? Once again, that book traveled quite the distance, but its overall displacement? Zero.
