CYBERLINK COVE (CORAL ATOLL)-2077

Francie Gualterio and Chrissy Jones, as well as Jared Wistmore, stepped off an inconspicuous passenger ferry. Francie’s eyes were as stoic as ever, while Chrissy’s eyes burned with barely contained anticipation. Jared’s eyes shone with a glint of boyish mischief.

“Both of you ready?” Francie muttered under her breath. She tested the comm links. Tina confirmed that everything was working.

“Hell yeah,” Chrissy said, giving Francie her trademark crooked grin.

“As ready as I’ll ever be,” was Jared’s response. He seemed more somber these days, probably because he was concerned for Mina.

Francie nodded. “Good,” she said.

The three pirates were on Coral Atoll to find an alternative way into the jail. Marissa had agreed to Mina escape, so part of the reason she had gone to visit Mina was to help out the pirates. From just her visit, Marissa had gleaned that Mina was being held in the innermost section of cells-the row of cells farthest away from the entrance. The back wall of the prison faced the east coast of the island. Coral Atoll’s west side could be reached from that same beach, as long as you had around thirty minutes worth of fuel.

So far, the pirates had developed a shaky plan. Marissa had discovered where the supplies needed to feed and clothe prisoners were dropped off and loaded inside; if the pirates could somehow acquire an ID of sorts and a uniform that the prison guards wore, then they could potentially sneak inside and find Mina. There were also the security cameras scattered at regular intervals all throughout the prison, if Marissa could get back in again, the pirates decided it'd be best if she tried to find their blind spot, and if possible, a way to disable them completely to minimize the attention that they attracted.

They would set off from Coral Atoll’s west coast, sail to the jail, get Mina out, and use the motorboat back to Smuggler’s Tavern. It was the foundation of their plan, though they would have to elaborate on it. Francie, Chrissy, and Jared were at Coral Atoll that day to scout out where it’d be best to sail to Skyhook Isle.

Francie laced up her black combat boots and stood up. “Alright,” she said. The pirates looked slightly out of place amongst the tourists and wealthy citizens and luxury boutiques. “Tina gave us each three sections of the coast to look at. Y’all know where they are?”

Chrissy and Jared both confirmed Francie’s thought. Francie nodded. “Great. We meet back at the ferry docks around noon, ya hear? That gives us around three hours to do our thing. Let’s get to it.” With that, Francie turned and marched off to the northernmost section of the western coast, her honey-streaked hair like a beacon in the wind.

Chrissy and Jared followed suit. Francie’s area was filled mostly with underbrush, but that was good-it provided more cover. Half of Jared’s section was a tourist beach. That was completely useless. The other half had been converted into a water park of sorts. Of course the admission fee was sky high, as Coral Atoll was where the rich spent their leisure time. Chrissy’s sector had been mostly cleared out, but it was secluded from the rest of the island by a copse of trees. It was also the shortest distance from Skyhook Isle, since part of it jutted out like a peninsula on an island.
