(I added Heart's "Alone" cause I just think the song is awesome and describes how Ivory's loneliness and need for a friend while the song above describes Ivory trying so hard to look better so she'll be accepted)

Ivory yawned in front of her bathroom mirror as she was getting ready for the school day.

The Apahavian rubbed her eyes, hopelessly attempting to properly wake herself up but all Ivory could think of was if the pink marble bathtub near her would make a good bed.

She yawned once again and noticed her reflection creepily staring at her.

Ivory noticed that she looked extremely tired today. She had frightening dark circles under her almond shaped brown eyes. Ivory had large dry lips. Ivory cringed when she lifted her index finger towards the large pimple on her nose.

The girl had filthy pimples all over face ever since she was 8 which her peers would always torment her for. Her pimples made her self esteem stoop so low that she once even risked her middle finger while preparing a potion that supposedly guaranteed no more pimples. Let's just ignore the grueling details and just say that Ivory ended up with a green colored face for a week.

"My face is so ugly and pimply!" Ivory complained with a disappointed face. She had been applying a special kind of face wash everyday for about two months that also guaranteed no more pimples but still no results.

At this point, The girl genuinely distrusts anyone or anything that says "guarantee."

"And why do I have such a large nose?" The girl said while covering nose with her right hand obviously ashamed of her long and large nose.

Her right hand then went above her head to lift up large strands of her frizzy/wavy hair.

"And why is my hair so dry and disgusting?" The brown eyed girl questioned herself.

Ivory's hair was a giant mess. She had baby hairs sticking out of her hair everywhere. Ivory couldn't even brush her hair without having an hour long fight with the knotty hair monster.

"I'm so tired, I don't wanna go to class."

"School sucks."

"My life is horrible."

"Why can't school start at 5 pm?"

"Who's the idiot who made this school?"

"And who even in their right mind names a school "Matthews Academy"?"

"This is stupid."

This internal diss track of Matthews Academy was always included in Ivory's morning routine. Not a single day passed where she didn't curse the school.

She looked at the clock on her bathroom wall and realized that she should probably stop complaining and get ready.

The girl hurriedly washed her face, brushed her teeth and applied a moisturizer to her face.

"Ugh!" Ivory said loudly when she went out of the bathroom.

The student had then angrily closed the bathroom door and then walked like a zombie to her closet and got her school uniform and laid it on her bed.
