The alarm was ringing while Zack laid on his bed, his arms and hands behind his head as he thought about his terrible mess of a life. His eye's inner corners brimmed with tiny pee colored crusts.

Zack felt his eyes burning and could feel his eyes letting out tears in any moment.

He sighed for a second and hopped off his bed to get ready for the day.

Zack felt a weight on his shoulder as he headed off to the bathroom. Once he was an inch away from the bathroom, he turned away from the bathroom door and banged his head on the wall next to him.

This was Zack's special way of keeping his feelings in check, it wasn't a healthy way but it made his heart beat in a normal pace and his veins to not poke out of his hands.

Zack decided that he'll skip brushing his teeth and hair.

It's not like being well groomed will make people bully me less.

He threw on his school uniform and was ready to go!

Once he stepped out of his dorm, the boys filling up the halls who were trying to squeeze in a quick conversation before classes immediately stared at him.

Zack stood in his place as he stared back at the boys staring him. His cheeks red and his fingers anxiously tapping his hips.

He turned to his right and went on his way, his head laying low. Zack took tiny steps until he felt something on his chest that made him stop.

It was a dark desert colored hand. He knew who it belonged to.

He raised his head to see Rune's creepy grin. His bright blue eyes glaring at him and his dark hair combed in waves.

"Hello Rune!" Zack said with the most fake smile you could ever observe in your life, that creepy smile that beauty queens would always wear in beauty pageants. Zack had hoped that if he appeared friendly to Rune then the boy would maybe leave him alone.

"What's your next class?" Rune asked.

"Uh math."

"Math? I don't want you to go that class," Rune said.

"Excuse me?" Zack said.

Rune raised his head above Zack and said "Do not go to that class."

"I don't understand," Zack said.

"If I catch you going to math class, I'll beat you to a pulp and turn your head green."

Zack gulped.

"What am I supposed to do then?" Zack said.

"I don't know, just don't go to math class."

"But I'll get in trouble," Zack said.

"You're a special little human, the worst punishment you could get is lunch detention," Rune said.

Zack sniffed.

"But I want to go to math class."

"Too bad, instead of going to math class, you'll just have to sneak outside the school and do whatever," Rune said.
