So I was thinking
About my class
I love them
They're the best and probably only people I can actually call friends
Yay
But I was thinking
What chance would there be for a class like us to appear?
The other kids in the gifted program are just...
They kind of hate each other
And yeah
I can see why
Being stuck with the same people for 8 years is a huge prospect
And sometimes it just doesn't work out
You would think my class would hate each other even more
Because we're all SO dramatically different
We have people who are in love with art
People who are addicted to books
People who live for sports
And everything in between
We're all different and diverse
A lot of times
We barely share interests
But
That's the thing
We don't focus on how we're different most of the time
We focus on how we're the same
And honestly
I think that's all I can ask for in life
Because when you realize how you're the same
You realize that we ARE the same
We're fucking humans man
