Solangelo: Over the Phone
Nico's POV
I start to dial Percy's number, wanting to yell at him for leaving Ms. O'Leary without any food. It rings three times before he picks up. "Hello?" Percy grunts over the phone, dropping it. "Butterfingers..." I mutter. "Hey Percy, you forgot to leave food for Ms. O'Leary."
There's a pause on the phone before I hear: "Crap." Percy hisses before I hear a car door open. "Are you driving!?" I exclaim, as I hear someone enter the cabin with me. I turn around to see Solace leaning on my doorframe. "Yes. I am." Percy harrumphs. "And I might need directions." He adds on.
I groan. "Why can't I just feed her???" I ask. "I have her special blue M&Ms." Percy sighs, and I hear a bag shake on the other end. "Alrighty then..." I grunt, as Solace walks up behind me. "Sup baby..." He whispers into my ear. I sigh, crossing my arms and cocking my head to the side to keep my phone next to my ear. "Shouldn't you not have a phone???" He asks, putting his arms around my neck. "Meh, if Percy gets into trouble that's his problem." I say sassily, rolling my eyes. "I hope you realize I'm still on the line..." Percy grumbles. I blush at that.
"A-anyways... where are you rig-" I start, as Solace kisses me on the neck. His lips are warm and full, and it leaves a little bit of spittle on my neck. I swallow. "Right now?" I finish. "Uhm, well I'm at the corner of Cornelia and Centennial (lol I don't know if those streets actually exist :D)." Percy says, a hint of curiosity in his voice. Solace chuckles.
"O-okay... now t-take a-a left once you H-hit Aspen..." I stutter, as Solace brings his hands down the side of my body. His hands settle near my hips, and start to embrace me in a deep hug. His entire body is radiating heat, and i begrudgingly sink into the embrace.
I start to giggle as he starts to sway me across the room in a crazy dance. "So what now Nico?" Percy asks, and I can hear the teasing attitude dripping from every word. "U-uh..." I gasp, as Solace starts to play with my hair. He curls it around his fingers, occasionally pulling on it playfully. "Nico?" Percy asks, and I can just HEAR the smirk on his face. "Yeah... Um... Take Aspen all the way down to Whitewall and turn right to get onto cul de sac. You'll want to turn and make another left onto Moonshine. Take that all the way up to the freeway." I say over the phone, playfully pecking at Solace's neck for a bit.
I leave Percy to drive, and start to turn around. I put my arms around Solace's neck, his tanned skin glowing next to my pale limbs. I smile and stand on my toes to put my forehead to his. He chuckles and lifts me up. I put the phone to my ear again as Percy starts to talk again. "What exit do I go off on?" He asks, lethargically yawning. "34th, it's like the 2nd or 3rd in your right." I giggle, as Solace starts to twirl me around.
I pause mid-twirl to put the phone back to my ear. I don't hear anything but some car engines, so I smile again put my forehead to Solace's. He's blushing, and I guess I am too. After a couple more minutes, I sort of push him away to go back into the phone. "Hello? Nico?" Percy asks over the phone. "Did you make it to 34th?" I ask, clearing my throat. "I went onto it, I'm at the light right now." Percy says, as I hear the car skid to a stop. "Okay, now just turn right and keep going down Louis and once you make it out of town take a left onto the freeway and get off when you see a sign for 'Strawberry Fields.'" I say into the phone, playing with my curls.
I hear Percy take a breath, then pause before blurting: "O-okay thanks... now you go have some fun Nico." I blush a little and look over my shoulder at Solace. He's smiling warmly and opens his arms. I look at the phone and look back at Solace. "Okay... well be safe." I somewhat cough into the phone, trying not to blush. I hang up and face Solace.
