Gone.

     Opening my eyes. The light burning them. Daniel instantly came to my mind. I smiled when it all came back to me.
     I hoped out of bed and fixed my hair a bit before I went downstairs. I didn't even bother looking the the mirror.
       I noticed Jonah, Zach, and Corbyn sitting at the table and Jack in the living room behind it. Daniel wasn't anywhere to be seen. I shook it off
      I went into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I sat at the table with them. "Morning guys" I said as I took a bite of the juicy apple. "Morning" they all responded "so what's up?" I said flipping my long hair of my chest. "The sky HAHA" yelled Jack I turned my head to look at him.
     "Oh. My. God" "woah Brooke" I heard Jonah and Zach say. I turned back and they all seemed as if they've seen a ghost. "What?" I asked. I'm not sure what happened but I'm scared. "Y-your neck" Corbyn said pointing at me

I quickly grabbed my phone camera and opens it and looked at my neck. My face went pale at the sight
     I had hickeys from my jawline all the way down to my chest. Daniel.
   Great. What am I going to tell them? What am I going to do?
    My heart started beating fast my palms were sweaty. "I um" I just stopped talking.
    "Is there something you need to tell us Brooklyn?" Jonah said using my full name. Oh lord. "Did you sneak out somewhere last night?" Zach said after him. "No! I was here all night" immediately regretted what I said. "So it was one of us!?" Corbyn asked clearly confused. "N-no?" I'm a horrible liar I can't take it. "It was me" I heard a voice behind me. "JACK?!" They all said in unison. Ugh this is not going well. "No!" I yelled back "well you see I was curling her hair last night and I accidentally burned her" I'm glad Jack was trying to help but it was not working at all. They all gives a look. We weren't phasing them. "I don't think a curler would burn her that many times down her neck." Zach stated getting angrier.
     I could feel my anxiety building up for some reason, it was anger. I just lost it and stormed up to Daniels room. At this point I'm raging.
    This is NOT how I wanted them to find out.
       I busted trough the door to find Daniel sitting on his bed on his phone
     "Are you kidding me Daniel!" I yelled walking up to him. He stood up "woah what?" He asked confused. "This" I showed him the marks on my neck. "The boys all saw it and now they know!!" I was telling so loud the entire house could probably hear. At this point I didn't care, I had nothing to loose.
        "Babe" he said trying to pull me in for a hugged. I pushed him away. "Get away! Can you just leave me alone? For once!" I was to harsh, I regretted everything I had said as soon as I said it. I looked into his eyes. All I saw was pure hurt. As if I could see his heart shattering into pieces through his eyes. I caused that. That made my heart break into a million pieces. I saw him tear up. I let out a shaky breath. "Daniel I-" I said softly, but before I was finished he cut me off. He just stormed out of the room. I heard the front door shut, and just like that
He was gone
