Chapter 5: Im fine.

Katie was wearing a purple dress. The same colour as Zarcons skin. Lance was apologising repeatedly to Matt. "Don't be suck up to me. It's Katie you should apologise to." Lance stopped and frowned. Katie tapped him on the shoulder. Matt smiled smugly. Lance jumped up. He hadn't notice Katie walk in. "Katie," Lance looked down. He was given a hug by Katie. Making Keith and Shiro jealous. "It's okay." They broke apart and Lance began to cry. Katie turned to Matt. "Did I say something wrong?" Matt laughed then shook his head. She then hugged both Shiro and Keith, she obviously noticed their jealous faces. The three hugged as the others joined in. "Can't... breath," Katie was squished in the middle. They all broke apart. "And please call me Pidge." She stated looking at the council and her family. Everyone nodded. "Okay now back to school." Matt ushered the council and his sister with him to the car. Samuel drive as he had a licence.

They finally made it back to school. Katie was the first in. "Come on Matt we need to make it to math!" Matt laughed. People staring at them. "Pidge your only in year 7." The council laughed at him. "She's in year 9 studying university level stuff Matt." Sam was gobsmacked and so was Matt. "Well then lets go!" Matt ran. Dragging Katie. He had gotten a lot stronger since the last time. And faster. They ran to their class. They shared the same math class just at different levels. Matt was only doing college, while Katie was doing university. The teacher was writing something on the board when Katie jumped in yelling at someone. "Miss Holt you are late." The teacher said calmly. "Sorry. I'm just with someone very special who I have missed for ages." The teacher looked up at the children's paces. Staring at the door. Katie was hugging Matthew. "Matt Holt!" The teacher yelled. "You've been missing for a two years. You have missed more than a thousand classes." Matt smiled and held his sister. "Well I'll just have to ask my sister for some help then." The teacher chuckled as the two sat down in the back corner of the room. Katie's hand shot up every time a university or college question was placed on the board. Matt held up his hand for the college questions and obviously year 9 questions. He had missed out on two years of school. "Miss Holt I have a very special question for you." The teacher pointed at Katie. "What is 951357 timed by 951357?" Almost instantly Katie answered. "The answer is 9.0508e11." Matt looked at her shocked. Checking on his calculator. "Holy Crap!!! Correct." The students sniggered and the teacher clasped a hand over her mouth. Finally the bell rung. Katie stood up and slung her bag over her shoulder. "So I should resign from school council. Your the secretary Matt." Said boy placed his hand on her shoulder. "Lets work together like old times." They both laughed with each other. People stared at the two. Matt placed his hand around Katie's waist and held her close. A bulky man wearing a military uniform. He was marching down the halls. Katie and Matt didn't notice. Every student in the middle of the hall separated to make way for the man. But Katie and Matt didn't notice the man. Matt was slightly in front and ran straight into the mans chest. "Watch it Kid!" The man yelled. "Sorry sir my brother and I didn't mean too." Katie apologised. The man looked down at the siblings. "And who might you be young madam?" The man asked. With no hesitation Katie answered. "My names Katelyn Holt and this is my brother Matthew Holt." The man looked down in shock. Matt held onto Katie tighter. "So your the Holt siblings." The man stated. Katie rolled her eyes. "Professor Iverson. And don't roll your eyes at me young lady!" Iverson yelled. Katie's right eyebrow twitched. She shut her eyes. When she opened them they were glowing amber. Her arm wasn't in pain though. She could definitely fell it heating up though. "Don't tell me what to do!" She snapped back. Iverson looked shocked. A girl had just stood up to him. Alfor grabbed her arm. He winced taking his hand off. "That's what I though." She stormed passed the two adults. "Katie!" Matt ran after her. After apologising to the men.

She was in the girls locker room getting dressed. She changed into a flexible black dress with short sleeves. Her arm glowing the patterns again. When she walked out she was greeted by the two men and Matt being held by the arm. "Let my brother go." She commanded. Iverson didn't let go. She lunged at him.
