As I said I do to be married to Peeta for eternity, Peeta caressed my cheek and kissed me tenderly. The crowd cheered and whistled. Our ceremony was over, now onto our reception. So many familiar faces said Hi and congrats to me but my mind was to distracted from seeing Prim and Rue. I thought I was better and not hallucinating anymore but this time they looked so real and alive. I can't believe I am being like this at our ceremony. I stepped out to get a breath of fresh air. After a few moments of silence I hear giggles from my left. I turn to see Prim and Rue. I scream out of frustration because I know my mind is teasing me. "Katniss you look beautiful" Prim says while waking towards me. "She always looks beautiful Prim" Rue chimes in. "You guys are just hallucinations" I she my head and blink and few times but they are still in the same spots. "Actually Katniss, we came down from heaven to see you today. We wanted to be there for you and watch it all." Prim says and Rue nods her head in agreement. This is all so happening fast but I'm so happy they are here. "What about Dad?" I ask. "He came too. He had to go back after your "I do's" because it was a little emotional for him. But he's happy. I know he wishes he could be alive and live again just like all the rest of us. But just know we are always watching you Katniss and we are happy for you. You many not be able to see us but just know our presence is there with you. We all love you." Prim says and they both slowly fade. "I love you too" I whisper.
After our ceremony, Peeta and head to our honey moon. Our honey moon is at the beach is District 4. We pull up to a cute vintage cottage. It's small but enough for just the two of us. Peeta and I rest on the bed as I tell him the event with prim. He said that his father and brothers came and seen him the night before the wedding and told him how they will always be watching over him. His mother was to ashamed to come but they told him she was very upset with herself on how she used to treat him. "Maybe one day I will get a apology" Peeta said and sighed. "Well you deserve one" I say and kiss his cheek. I rest my head on his neck and he gently presses kisses down my cheek and neck. The rest of the night was amazing.
Sorry about not updating for so long!! I have been so busy with softball and school. Anyway the next chapter will have some drama!
