CHAPTER 10

Mike's POV

I have no idea why I have to make that phone call. I know I’m the smart one, and I know how to deal with situations like this but still. I mean Vic suggested it shouldn't he make the call but if it weren't for Jaime he wouldn’t have said any thing about it. I don't like the way he looks at her. Well, anyways I want to be the on that tells her. I want to see her reaction, I want to make her happy for a change.

This school is so stupid. I have to pretend that I’m her uncle and that we are heading out for a family vacation in 2 days. And that it was last minute that we didn't know about it until earlier and wanted to know if we can pull her out today. See now why I’m the one who deals with all these situations I can always lie easily unlike the other guys.

The principal was pissed at first, because we didn't let them know ahead of time. But then after they found out who it was that I was taking out of the roaster. It ends up that jewels is a straight “A” student who can pretty much do whatever she wants. He was okay with it after a while, I can't wait to make her smile. I have no idea why but it just makes me happy. Earlier when she told us what happened I was ready to rip someones head off, what’s wrong with me? I mean when I saw Jaime carrying her upstairs I felt a pang of jealousy. I have no idea whats going on wrong me. There might be a possibility that I like her. How can that be I don't know but I’m going to settle this out and soon, before I’m to late. I know for a fact that tony likes her , and I can't do that to poor turtle.

And if I do like her I have to win her over before one of the other guys make s move on her. But it still surprises me that this girl is a genius. Who knew, now I’m going to feel like a complete idiot around her. That isn't going to help me at all in trying to win her heart. Great that's just what I needed.
