Chapter 18

Colby's Pov

After they brought Sam to the ambulance Elton left faster then I've ever seen him move. I had no words on what just happened and why Sam would do something like that. I thought he was happy with me... I guess I was wrong. Everyone ended up letting go of me once I was calmed down enough to be let go of. I just sat there in shock not knowing what to do or how to react to what just happened. A few minutes passed before I ran upstairs slammed my door and locked it. I could tell everyone was now worried because I wasn't opening it or answering it, but I wasn't going to hurt myself because my baby needs me to stay strong and I will do that for him. While I was looking for a big enough bag to shove random clothes in that would keep me warm while I was gone and also my cash I hide just in case I needed to leave. Once that was all packed I grabbed my headphones and charger and ran down the stairs and out the door without answering peoples questions. I unlocked my car and just started to drive off into a random direction until I need to stop for gas. When I came up to a gas station there was a car that looked familiar. Was that Elton's car? It was being towed away to a car place, so I jogged over to the driver in the front seat.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hi, can I help you?" The driver asked.

"Yeah. Uh where did you get the car from?" I questioned nervously.

"Not to far from here kid. Why? Do you know who owns it?" He said.

"I do yes. If I payed you could you bring it to this address?" I said scribbling down my address.

"Sure kid, but I can do it for free for ya," He said.

"Thank you!" I replied.

I walked away into the store and bought food and gas. The guy who was owing Elton's car drove off and he said it wasn't too far from the gas station. So I decided to go up the road and there was mostly woods. Why would Elton park here? I parked my car into a parking lot so it wouldn't be towed away.

Sam's Pov

I was in a hospital bed when I woke up and Corey and Devyn was in there but no Colby. I looked around to see if any of his stuff was there which nothing of his was there.

"Where's Colby?" I asked a little loudly.

"We don't know Sam," Devyn sad softly.

"How the fuck do you not know?!?" I yelled.

"He ran out an hour after Elton left. Neither of them have contacted us, but everyone is looking Sam," Corey answered this time.

I looked at the ceiling with tears rolling down my cheeks without letting anyone know. I want to know what's running through Colby's mind. He probably doesn't even love me or want me anymore. I miss him and I wish he was here. I started to doze off with the thought of him on my mind. I love you Colby.
