Chapter 5

Colby's Pov

Elton didn't know how to reply to that. I walked off and was walking for a good 5 hours before I came to the highest bridge in LA. I climbed over the railing and stood on the edge looking down. Every thought flooded in all at once. He will never love you back. Sam isn't waking up get that through your head. It's your fault that he's in a coma. Everyone would be better off without you. I was pulled quickly out of my thoughts by some girl.

"Hey," She said calmly.

I turned to look at her and she smiled for a split second, but then I turned back to facing the ground.

"My name is Katrina, but you can call me Kat if you'd like. And your name is?" Kat questioned.

"Colby. My names Colby," I replied with a little harshly.

"Would you mind stepping over the railing so we can talk? If not just talk to me okay?," She sounded scared.

"You don't know who I am, so why do you care?" I was curious

"I know, but I want to help you. I can't help you if you don't let me. So please come back over and talk. I'll listen and not put my opinion in," Kat said reassuringly.

"Okay," I replied with calmly this time. I climbed back over and she rushed over to me.

I told her everything from the crash to what happened before I wanted to jump and she didn't say a single word about her opinion. She drove me home and I invited her in to meet everyone, but then I thought of Sam. After she meet everyone I quickly grabbed her hand and asked her to drive to the hospital and she did without question. We walked to Sam's room and I opened the door putting my hand out letting her know to go in. I grabbed a chair for her then myself.

"Hey Sam, this is Katrina. She saved my life and I think you guys would get along just fine, but please Samuel wake up soon I miss you," I said with a shaking voice.

'Thank you Katrina and Colby I promise I'll wake up soon.' Sam thought.

We sat there for awhile and then Kat brought me home and we parted ways for the night. We're hanging out tomorrow to talk more about how I've been feeling, but god no if you're thinking I like her you're wrong I'm in love with my best friend Samuel J. Golbach.

Hey guys put your opinion in or if I should change or add anything. I'll try to upload daily, but no promises because it's summer and I'm booked. Plus sorry for writing so late it's the only time I'm not busy. But comment your thoughts on it or what should come in the future.
