Lucy's POV:
I woke up to the sun shinning bright through the cracks in a near by window. Wait, where was my purple blankets? Where was the photos that laid on my mirror? This wasn't my house. Who's was it? I tried to remember the events of the past night but a pounding headache forced my brain to stop thinking. I uncovered my self of the tan sheets sending shivers up my now bare legs. I stood up and in one swoop my head started spinning. I faltered back and blinked twice. I walked out of the room and almost tripped over the white rug blocking the doorway. The aroma of eggs entered my nose as I walked farther into the open space. Figuring it was the kitchen I was entering I shuffled in seeing who was making delicious omelets. When I peeked through the corner I saw Cheeky Taylor whistling a happy tune. Oh shit. Did I? I was pretty drunk. Maybe I did. I mean. Taylor's hot but I've only seen him in school once in a while. I didn't really know him. I wiped the forming sweat off my forehead. Taylor turned around and smiled at me. "Good morning" he grinned deviously. Uh oh. I did...

Taylor's POV:
---- that night ----
Lucy whipped a smile at me after swallowing another shot.
"YO LETS DO SOMETHING CRAZY" she said screaming over the music that surrounded the bar.
I laughed " Lucy you need to get home"
She put her head down smacking it on the counter. Sighing she flicked the hair back that laid in front of her face. She smiled at me and put her hand on my knee sending butterflies through me. I've always thought Lucy was pretty hot. The way that she couldn't give two shits about anything that happened and she always stayed positive. I smiled back at her.
" c'mon Caniff.. What are you so scared of?" She winked causing me to shake her hand off my knee. Yeah she was hot and yeah I would pounce on her but she's drunk and clearly won't remember this. I want her to have a fighting chance.
"Okay I'm gonna drive you home. Give me your keys." I said reaching for her keys
"No! I don't want to go home" she slurred.
"Fine you can stay with me tonight. I'll come get your car tomorrow morning. If you can remember my name" I smiled helping her off the stool.
I helped her down the steps and to the outside. Once the cool night air entered our lungs I could tell Lucy stunned back. She took a deep breath of fresh air.
"Was that tree always there" she said pointing in the dusk.
I opened the passengers door laughing.
"I can open my own damn door thank you very much." She snapped.
--- skipping the ride home---
We walked into my house Lucy tripped over the door. I giggled causing her to yell at me in words I didn't understand.
"C'mon you can sleep in here." I called to her opening the door to the guest room.
" Thanks Pete" she said tapping my chest
" Ha your welcome" I laughed.
she looked at me confused and then hopped into bed.
I helped her take off her shoes while she hummed unchained melodies.
"Taylor why don't you like me?" She asked in a tone. Almost like a whisper.
" Why? What makes you think I don't like you?" I asked back sitting on the edge off the bed.
"Cuz you won't sleep with me." the way she said it made me laugh but I tried to hold my laughter in.
" I do like you. But I have to much respect for you knowing how drunk you are. Maybe in the morning if you still wanna then hit me up. But not right now." I calmly stated pulling the cover over her.
"I'm not drunk.. Your just kinda blurry.." She said drifting off to sleep.
I kissed the top off her head and too her goodnight. I walked off the bed and closed the door to the room. When I walked into my room I plunged into bed and instantly fell asleep.

--- Back to that morning---
Lucy's POV:
Hearing what happened that night while Taylor made me breakfast made me grow mad respect for him. He respected my drunken state, drove me home and let me sleep at his house. Now that I know that nothing happened I feel better. Taylor is so sweet. Maybe I should get to know him better. But he can't like me. I'm not his "type". He probably was just being nice. I packed up my purse and looked at him.
"My moms coming home soon. I should probably get going." I said opening his door. Just when I was about to step outside he pulled me back in. We were face to face when he spoke softly.
" I'd like to see you again. Can we go to dinner?"
I nodded my head and he tucked a loose hair begin my ear
"I'll pick you up tonight at 9" he whispered
A date with Taylor Caniff. Oo fun...
