Ana's breaths quickened as she stood and looked at herself in the mirror, she was wearing a beautiful ivory silk and lace wedding gown "Oh you look beautiful sweetheart" Polly grinned as she walked towards her, she was holding a silver cross in her hand "This was mine on my wedding day, I was going to give it to my daughter on hers but..."
"It's beautiful thank you Polly" Ana steadied Pollys hands as she held the necklace up to Ana's neck. She paused as Polly fastened it, Polly was just sat smiling at her.
"What?" Ana frowned and Polly shook her head still smiling.
"I hope you know what you're doing Anastasia Lawrence?" Polly exhaled and Ana frowned.
"Why do you and Tommy insist I go by the name Lawrence, my name is Anastasia Gillespie" Ana snapped, Polly knew this annoyed Ana. She also knew it was the best way to keep her safe "Well"
"Well nothing" Polly frowned "Besides I have a bone to pick with you madam, I know you're secret..."
"What secret?" Ana looked worried.
"I know you're not pregnant" Polly half smiled "You just said it so Grandad wouldn't argue with you..."
"We don't mean anything by it, I love him Polly more than life itself probably and with this bloody war on top of us...well we both wanted to marry before he went off to war and I knew Grandad Shelby would never agree unless he thought..."
"You were pregnant" Polly smiled "I'll tell you something young lady you are more Shelby than you realise, I won't say anything to Grandad I promise"
"Thank you"
"Now come on let's go and put that poor boy out of his misery, he's been dying to see you all morning" Polly led Ana out of the front door and towards the white horse that was waiting for her.
"Cormac" Ana grinned widely "Hello boy" she stroked his head.
"Come on" Polly gestured towards the carriage attached to Cormac "For once you can behave like a lady, not a red haired savage"
"She'll always be a savage" A familiar voice bellowed from behind them.
"Oh my god" Ana squealed as she rushed towards the 'bear' of a man standing behind her "Guy" she wrapped her arms around his neck as he returned her hug.
"You didn't think Tommy would let me miss this did you?" Bear grinned and helped Ana into the cart.

The music played and Ana gripped tightly into the creased of Bear's elbow "Easy darlin" Bear smiled "He isn't going anywhere" he had guessed his sister was getting anxious.
As Ana looked up she couldn't help but smile, standing in front of her was Tommy "Look at his grin" Bear whispered under his breath "He looks like a stunned rabbit" Ana laughed out, much to the priests annoyance, Tommy couldn't help but smirk as he was reminded of Ana's wildness. There was a savage inside her that was buried deep, which allowed her to be bold and careless.
The more Tommy watched her moving towards her the more his heart raced, right in front of him was his whole world...not only was Anastasia his future, she was also his fatal flaw.

The wedding seemed to go quickly and after the ceremony, Tommy and Ana found themselves alone.
Tommy had taken Ana for a ride in the cart into the countryside "Where are we going Tom?" Ana hesitated as Tommy stopped the cart and got off, he reached out to help Ana down.
Tommy led Ana by the hand towards a big manor house "Thomas why in God's name are we here?" Ana hissed as she looked around.
"Because my love tonight is the night I make you a promise...Now I made a promise to you a long time ago that one day I would marry you and here we are" Tommy didn't so much as flinch as he spoke to Ana "So this is my next promise, Anastasia Shelby I promise you that one day we shall live in this big house, we will raise our children here and we shall be free and happy" Ana smiled as Tommy brushed her knuckles against his lips.
"I love you Tom" Ana replied before leaning forwards and meeting his lips with hers "And I will until the day I die..."
"And even on the other side?" Tommy corrected and Ana nodded.
"Aye" she chuckled "Even then"

Bear stood with Polly as he watched Ana and Tommy dance to the first dance "She'll need you more than anyone" Polly frowned as she too watched them "When Tommy goes with his Grandad I mean"
"She'll have you" Bear frowned.
"It won't be used she clings to though" Polly touched Bears shoulder "You have been the one she's turned to all her life and that won't stop now"
Bear don't reply he just inhaled deeply "I know about the way you protected her, she told me about the beatings you took for her...and although that isn't her fate anymore she still needs you to keep her close especially with Tommy gone"
"I don't need you to tell me when my sister needs me" Bear snapped a little harsher than he meant to "I will always keep her close"
"I know I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you..." Polly replied quickly.
"Its okay, I didn't mean to snap it's just when I think about what we went through It angers me" Bear sighed "The things she endured...no child should ever have to endure that"
Bear watched Ana with a smile as she twirled and swished around the dance floor with Tommy. He was glad that she had finally found this happiness.

Ana woke up intertwined in Tommy, the light peered in through the gap in the drapes as Ana rose from her bed. She smiled a she felt Tommy's arm tighten around her "Stay here my love" Tommy groaned as he kissed her back and shoulders.
"Tommy stop..." Ana tried to fight her desires as Tommy continued to kiss her, planting gentle almost butterfly like kisses across her spine.
"Come back to bed then, it's our wedding night" Tommy tried "Alright morning, but no-one will expect us to rise until at least noon. Besides perhaps we should start thinking about that little Shelby addition we created in fiction..maybe now is a good time to turn it into a fact" Tommy's smile had always been infectious and his charm had managed to talk Ana into anything.
She returned his grin instinctively and allowed him to lay her down on the bed, he kissed her neck and collarbone as he parted her legs. And then as she lifted them Tommy moved between them. Ana let out a groan as she felt Tommy's body on hers, his hands ran up her thighs as he moved masterfully inside her causing her back to arch. The pair panted and groaned gently as the came undone in eachother...neither of them seemed to care for the noise they made...i mean it's not like they needed to hide their passion anymore is it?
