Isabella

Autumn is officially my favorite season of the year.

Not only is it only absolutely breathtaking during this season, but so much happens during this time of year and it holds the greatest memories. Of course, my birthday is in September so that's an automatic liking to the season. Also, I met my best friend in August, probably the second best thing that has every happened to me. Yes, me and her are closer than ever. It even get's on Lucca's nerves when I'm around her too long because I tend to shut him out. It's not intentional! It's just me and Gabi are typically joined to the hip and it's hard to separate us.

Speaking of Lucca, me and him are closer than ever before. I was reluctant to marry him at such a young age, but I knew my love for his was real and I couldn't see myself without anyone else. And I know that he feels the exact same way. He expresses it almost every single day. No exaggeration. We were stuck in the "honeymoon" phase for three years, but we finally broken free of it and now we're just the average day married couple and I love it. 

With both of us being business owners, our schedules are all over the place, his more than mine. The bookstore is booming in business. I guess moving it to this side of town and making it more modern, it attracts more people which I'm extremely grateful for. 

Lucca is doing well with having two offices, one here and the other in D.C. Aiden finally caught the hang of running a company. Actually, him and Lucca have become good friends. Speaking of Aiden, he and Gabi got married last year. It was extremely weird to all of us because Gabi is, well she's Gabi, and Aiden is quiet and to himself. Nevertheless, they're an adorable couple. Gabi is basically live in D.C. now with her husband, but she visit at least twice a month.

Speaking of couples, Santino finally got him a girlfriend. They're actually engaged now. Her name is Madison and she's the sweetest girl you can ever meet. She actually works at the bookstore with me just for fun. Santino pulled a Lucca and told her that she didn't have to work, but her humbleness wouldn't let her so she asked me could she work for me and I said yes. Me, her, and Gabi are the bestest of friends.

As for the twins... Let's just say they're enjoying being beautiful and young.

But back to me, I've enjoyed being married to Lucca for these past four years now. One thing I've finally come to expect is the press. Lucca is a well-known business man and he's already on magazines and he's know worldwide. Me, being his wife, I get the same treatment. It use to stress me out to the point where I didn't want to go outside for weeks until I finally got the courage to just ignore them or fuss them out. Whichever one I felt like doing at the time. And Lucca, being the aggressive man he is, has personally scared all of them away.

God, I love that man.

Now, Carson is just an emotional subject for me. He... He's just so big now! He's taller than me and his voice is all deep and stuff and I just don't like it. He's a handsome young man now. He's not my small adorable little brother anymore. It's just not right. I have to crane my neck to look at him. It's just ridiculous. And on top of that, he's turning eighteen in a few months! Like I said, ridiculous.

I clear my throat, not wanting to get emotional right now. I pull my feet out of the pool and grab my book from off of the limestone covered ground and push myself off of the ground. Luckily, I had a day off from the bookstore, so I decided to spend it outside under the sunlight with a book. But, I can see I've been out here too long because the sun is almost out of sight and Duke is starting to whine in my ear.

Duke is my dog. He's a Siberian Husky and I absolutely love him. Lucca got him for me about a year ago because we got into a huge argument. I forgave him automatically when I saw him walk through our bedroom doors with Duke in his arms, my heart melted. Lucca was against getting a dog for years, but I guess me being mad at him for about a week changed his heart. I don't know why Lucca was against getting a dog, but I would think he warmed up to Duke. I mean, they have a love-hate relationship but, they're still working on it.
