we read The Fall of the House of Usher by Mr. Poe in class well i finished it everyone else is probably still like halfway done but yeah
it's really wordy so if you have a sucky vocabulary don't read it
anyway i loved all of the details he included so i knew enough about how they looked but could still force some imagination in there

tbh i loved roderick's character and (SPOILERS) i think his death was too soon man i felt like the author just needed to wrap it up and finish the story, like he wrote at least two paragraphs about how he played the lute but one or two measly sentences describing his death like come ON
(no spoilers) i wish we knew more about the main character like, for starters, what's his name??? all we knew about him is that he's a dude he's just taking things without questioning them and he probably has the hots for roderick 🤔🤔🤔
