I woke up with my forehead beating, my eyes bloodshot red and a boa wrapped around my neck, my Bachelor's party was so good, it was a blur, I guess, that's a pro of getting married, that one bachelor's party.
"Oh my god!" I said, as if on cue, one of our long time maids entered with a tray of food, "Hey, Susan!"
"Hey, Mister! Quiet a party?"
"Those devils, Cristiano even joined, twice the crazy" I sat and took a sip of orange juice,
"Well, your grandmother is finalizing the details, of your wedding. And... Sara, made these Tiramisu, a whole cake, there's more downstairs" she also handed me a letter and left, "That came with the box"
I tear it open, and it read,
Hey!
I heard this is a tradition, to give something to your fiance before the wedding.
(But please, don't get me anything)
I remembered that you liked Tiramisu from Italy, so I attempted to make one.
I feel guilty that you'll marry me, with no sparks or sweetness, or sex (I heard that's a big deal for your kind) at all, so I'll compensate where I can, the least I can do as your wife.
See you tomorrow, Sara
I want to be grateful, in fact, I think I am, but, all I can feel is guilt, to what she said, I already compensated for the fact that there's not sex in this marriage, so, I might have slept with a woman and her friend. I lost my appetite and brought it down to the kitchen.
*Ring* *Ring*
"Hey James!" I answered my phone,
"What the fuck Andre! What did you do?"
"What?"
"Didn't you check the news?!!? 'Andre Silva, seen with 2 girls in a hotel lobby, days before his wedding' is your wedding cancelled? Cos if it is this is actually good news!"
"No, no, no..."
"It's everywhere so I suggest you talk to your family, bye" what am I suppose to do, the wedding is tomorrow, Shit!
-----
Every step felt like Jell-o, we were in my grandparent's house, they have a huge garden, good for an arranged wedding. I saw some of my relatives and waved at them, its obvious that they heard the news,
"You dick! How dare you do that to my girl?" Meryl, Sara's mom punched my arm with a clutch, she was about to say more when Sara's grand mother came in the foyer,
"Meryl! I'm sure it was nothing serious, and families agreed not to talk about it, go now, back to where you belong" she said to Meryl, I felt like the last part was a low blow, but I was thankful.
The ceremony started, I walked and was staring at the priest who might have also hated me, went to my place and waited for her, I slowly got bored, man this is a long entourage, is this tradition? Boredom broke when everybody stood up, and there she was, so beautiful and regal, I don't feel anything special, I do know I don't deserve her, our eyes met and she smiled at me, I know she saw the news, but she still smiled at me.
"I, do"
"I, do"
"... You may kiss the bride," I cant believe I'm saying this but, I don't know how to kiss, I stared at her, she was waiting for me, I leaned in, placed my hand on her waist and kissed her, I felt her lips and I can't help but sulk it on in, her lips felt so good, but she pulled away very quickly.
