Chapter 13

I woke up, no, I forced myself to wake up, my head was so heavy, my stomach was grumbling and my skin looked pale, am I gonna die? Gianni gave me some medicines from the plane and I took it and drank tea too.

By lunch time I was feeling a bit okay, we were taste testing appetizers and alcohol,

"Wine, madame?"

"Oh no, thank you"

"Cassandra, no dear, try the wine, it's amazing!" Francia said, it's so hard to say no to your boss especially when she has been so nice to me, so I took a sip of the wine, and faked a smile, Vicky and Gianni was looking at me like I just committed murder, "it's good, would go well with cheese" I said,

I drank 3 glasses of water after, trying to wash down the alcohol.

We were on an ocular visit, when I started feeling whoozy, "Cassandra, are you okay?" Vicky held me tighter,

"I'm seeing blue, Vicky"

"What?"

Before I could respond, I fainted, everything was black, the last thing I heard were there voices.

I woke up back to my hotel,

"Cassandra?" Andre in Paris? Am I dreaming? "Hi, feeling better?" he was in the foot of my bed,

"You guys didn't bring me to the hospital?!" I said, "I could've died"

"No, you wouldn't, Cassandra" he almost laughed, WTF??!

"How long was I out?" I asked,

"an hour and a half?"

"How are you here so quick?"

"You think, your friend Gianni doesn't update me?", "he called me the minute you passed out"

"Flight from Italy to here takes like, half an--"

"I took a jet"

"I didn't know you had a jet?! Are you loaded and I didn't fucking know it?"

"I had a jet rented just in case..."

"In case of..."

"Gianni told me you might be pregnant, I had to be ready, just in case something like this," he pointed at me, "... happens"

"Andre... I know you're not ready"

"We'll talk about it later, for now rest"
