Chapter 12

Jackson's POV:

When I woke up I was laying on Brian's bed and Brian was holding me tightly to his chest. A content sigh slipped from my lips and I moved closer to him.

"Jackson? Are you awake?", I heard Brian whisper.

"No", I smiled.

"We have school today, Angel", he whispered.

"I don't want to go to school! I want to stay in bed with you all day", I whined and closed my eyes again.

"That's very tempting but unlike me you haven't finished school yet and I don't want to be in the way of your education plus you only have to go to school for this week and then never again", he told me.

"I can be your housewife", I answered sleepily.

"But you're a guy", he laughed.

How I loved to see him laugh and smile.

"Then I'll be your stay-at-home husband."

"What do I have to do so you'll go to school with me?", he asked laughing.

"Forget about my behaviour yesterday. I shouldn't have pressed you so much and I shouldn't have said those hurtful words towards you. Also I shouldn't have been running away so please forgive me. I won't ever ask you again where you get your money from", I begged him with tears in my eyes.

"There is nothing I could forgive you for because you haven't done anything wrong. I'll tell you when I'm ready so don't worry about that, okay?"

I nodded and smiled at him. My one and only true love. With that we both took up and dressed our self's in clean clothes. Then Brian made us some breakfast and drove us to school. Since we hadn't any classes together we needed to part ways when the bell rang. The lessons dragged on and on and seemed to never end. When finally the last bell rang I was out of the classroom in only a few seconds. I ran down the halls but suddenly I crashed into something that sent tingles all throughout my body and instantly I knew that it was Brian I had ran into. Before I could fall to the ground Brian catched me and only then I looked up and into his beautiful dark eyes.

"Why are you running as if you were being chased by an enormous beast?", he asked smirking.

"I wanted to see you", I replied innocently and watched as his cheeks turned a soft rosy colour.

Suddenly Brian grabbed my wrist and started walking towards his car. After we both were seated inside he started driving us home at a fast pace.

"What is it, Brian?", I asked a bit confused since he hadn't said a word since we were in the hallway of the school.

"I'm going to tell you everything you want to know once we're home."

"What?! Really?", I asked excitedly.

He only nodded and soon after we pulled into the driveway of his mansion. When we got inside we went into the living room and sat down on the couch.

"So? What exactly do you want to tell me, Brian?", I asked after a few minutes of silence.

"As you already know I'm a vampire and 180 years old. My parents were murdered in an attack that was caused by other vampires. At that time my family was loved by most of the people in the kingdom but of course there were some vampires who didn't like them so they wanted to kill my parents and I so they could take over our kingdom. Yes, my parents were the king and queen of Hibernia and since their death I've been the king. You are my mate what means that you will be queen but since you're a guy you will be called king, too. That's the reason why I have so much money", Brian explained.
