We stopped at one of the many food courts for lunch.

"Hey guys!" Nash called from the other side of the food court. He and the others made their way over to the table where Matt and I were seated, sharing a plate of fries. I stopped and stared when the boy dressed in black walked feet behind Nash.

"Erin, you remember Carter don't you." Nash smiled big, gesturing the the boy.

Remember? What?

"Yeah, he used to come over all the time!" Nash said smiling big and patted Carter on the back. "He just moved recently. What a great day to come out!"

"Wait....so you were friends with Nash?" i questioned, pointing to him with a french fri.

"Yeah, I was at the party that you and Matt first hooked up at." My eyes grew wide.

"Then why didnt you say anything earlier?"

"I didnt recognize you, you got hot." Matt coughed, choking on his soda.

"Its been like....3 weeks..maybe." he shrugged his shoulders.

"Erin dont be rude." Nash scolded me for no reason.

Matt and I scooted down at our table and made room for the boys to sit with us.

"Yeah! HAHAH freshman gym class was the best." Nash, Taylor, Aaron, and Carter laughed about high school memories they shared together. Matt and I just sat at the end of the table eating our fries. All the memories came flooding back when he took of his sunglasses. He was always part of the group, and more so, he and Matt used to be hella close for a while.

"So, where's Cameron?" Carter asked, and the whole table went silent.

I still don't know where we all stand on the Cameron drama, even after begging for forgiveness i don't know how i feel about him, or even this situation. I mean, i was stabbed for crying out loud. He should be in jail, but of course he's Cameron and Cameron never gets shit for anything ever. So actually, he deserves all this.

I was a little shocked that Matt and Carter weren't talking. They were so close i thought that Matt would be in Nash's position right now.

"Do you want to leave?" i whispered to Matt across the table. He nodded his head and we both stood up. Surprisingly no one heard us.

Hayes was still out on rides with Chad, so i didn't feel bad leaving the group knowing Hayes was safe and not with them.

"Why weren't you talking to Carter?" i asked with out thinking, and instantly brought my hand over my mouth. Thats too personal of a question and i shouldn't of asked it.

"No its fine." Matt said taking my hand off of my mouth for me. "I mean, before he left, we kinda got in a fight, it wasn't too bad, just a little yelling, but i dont know." He shrugged his shoulders and sighed.

"Aw Matt." i frowned. We stopped walking and i gave him a hug.

"Its fine, really." He said, kinda softly.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" i lifted my head, resting my chin on his chest and looked up at his face.

"I mean, it was just dumb guys stuff, ya know" he shrugged.

"Yeah actually i do." we both laughed with my brother reference. "And i do know that its not dumb, you can tell me its okay." I hated seeing him upset.

"Its just" he sighed. "its really hard to explain." i nodded my head as best i could.

"I understand." we stood there for a couple minutes.
